Havent read a lot ive missed on this thread but the statement is the following if im rite.......

WORRIED ABOUT ARSENAL?

1.) High ticket prices should be reinvested in experienced new signings to improve the squad.

2.) We support the development of youth players, but worry there is an over reliance on youth, at the expense of older professionals whom the youth can learn from.

3.) We respect the social obligations and wider business interests of the PLC, but seek clarity that winning trophies remains the core objective.

You're just full of crap. I'm not going to re-has all this but as i said months go in promoting the petition efofort. "If you are in the Wenger Knows camp you should sign the petition, and if you are in the Wenger Out Camp you should sign the petition.

The reason was simple and its the same now - we don't know why these are decisions are bing made or by who. Our goal is that we make different decisions in these regards, and that was my goal all along.

I support any changes that need to be made that will lead to changes in the lack of investment in the team. I simply don't want us to make the mistake of ignoring a possible reason and thus we end up supporting change for change's sake only. I want to make sure we achiive positive change, whatever is required to achieve it.

If what I am on the record as believing is confirmed to have validtity I am sure we will as a group react to that the same way we would if those on the record as believeing the manager is solely are proven correct. We all united in wanting the problems corrected, so our personal views are irrelevant now.

in all seriousness, if you're gonna take more of a front seat in this than i'm all for it.

nothing against quartz and steve who clearly have a way with words but i'd rather a bit more action. never understood a strongly worded letter!! he'd just chuck it in the bin and carry on buffing his diamond encrusted loafers.

im a season ticket holder and am willing to stay in or walk out or whatever(obviously only when we cany mathmatically win it anymore)
just dont like the way others are steering this thing now.
think the reason your original post got such a response was for these reasons

Direct Action is the way changes will be forced. First we need to get a message out there, and garner some support for the Group. Can't be putting the cart before the horse.

If we push the button now, we'll just get blown out of the water. I still stand by my original post though. Doing something at London Colney, the AGM, and now Reserve Games will get us noticed. Nothing we do at the Grove will get us noticed.

THE GROVE IS THE PROBLEM.

Frank I think you are onto somthing here. I am not sure about being unable to do anything at Ashburton Grove but wouild hardly be an expert on that having only been twice.

But I think whatever we do is taking things to a higher level there in terms of scale investment and even risk (legal), so we should start on the smaller scale and see what we are capable of and how much of an affect it can acheive, sort of like playing friendlies before the real matches get underway. We can test our messaging and tactcis ahead of time that way and prepare for a bigger sort of action on match day.

Also we can use handing out the fliers on match day to get a feel for what we can do around and ultimately in the ground - get a read on how security reacts to us out there and things, scout out the best areas for action outside the stadium, and what type of actions would work best. Could even hand out fliers near the car park before trying the banner idea over there, for example.

One last point - what about Highbury House itself? Putting some people outside the offices even on weekdays might get some press too maybe...
