Sorry mate but it sounds like another kop out.SWLGooner wrote:If we had been out of the game it would have been shown but we were in with a shout till the last kick of the game and it would have been totally counterproductive to show it during a game against those c**ts when it was still finely balanced.
Wenger Out Banner
Its all very well getting stuck into SWL but who else is up for getting together on this. I will not set foot inside that joke of a stadium at my expense but I am more than happy to turn up either outside the stadium or at any away game.
We need more numbers. People should keep in touch with SWL on this and back him.
Put my name down, and PM me with any developments

Interesting to hear the Arsenal have people monitoring the message boards/ facebook pages etc, seems all clubs do this then!
Still, I wouldn't have thought there is much they can do- get a list of everyone who wants to protest, get them all to spread the word, arrange to meet somewhere away from the stadium and, private property or not, march to the stadium and protest right outside the ground. Lads who arent going to the match can carry flags/ banners as they cant exactly confiscate them and stop the lads from entering the stadium and everyone else will be able to go to the match as normal unless they feel like trying to ban a few hundred people. If the will is there and there is a bit of planning, I dont see what can be done to stop it tbh

No hindsight about it wankstain ive been saying Wenger isnt making the right decisions and isnt the right man for 2-3 years nowRed Member wrote:Maybe those with the banner got a bit of a taste of what it is like to be Wenger yesterday
Decisions, decisions, decisions.
Wenger took off Oxlade-Chamberlain
Banner people didnt show the banner
both probably wrong decisions in hindsight, but it is easy to come on here and criticise afterwards
To be fair, the decision to take off Oxlade-Chamberlain was baffling even at the time without the benefit of hindsight. Theo Walcott had been incredibly poor, in the first half there were about 3 easy passes that he got completely wrong and, one half decent run in the second half aside, he did nothing. AOC on the other hand was having a great game- his touch and intelligence on the ball looks a class about Walcott's, he was worrying them, making space for RVP and crucially he had just got an assist. The lad would have been absolutely buzzing just desperate to get on the ball again, the crowd were buzzing wanting to see him rip into them.Red Member wrote:Maybe those with the banner got a bit of a taste of what it is like to be Wenger yesterday

Instead, Wenger for some reason decided to take the lad off, the crowd were deflated when they saw that the most effective player was being taken off for a lazy bugger who has failed to impress all season (and most of last), AOC was left with adreneline pumping but no chance to get back in possession. You could just feel the buzz that had been going around the ground evaporate. Then of course Arshavin did his usual, nothing much in attack and weak as piss when tracking back (unlike AOC who had put in a couple of good tackles). Its easy to criticise with hindsight but I was watching the game and me and me mate were both amazed that he would keep Walcott on, bring AOC off and bring Arshavin on- I'm not even a gooner and I was shouting at the tele and by the sounds of things most of the stadium could see it was the wrong decision as well. Managers are employed and paid big money to get big decisions right- its one thing to be arrogant and say "I dont need to justify it, I'm the manager" but if you're going to be arrogant and make strange looking changes, you have to get them right and currently Wenger is getting major decisions wrong and doing very little to justify the arrogant streak. Mourinho is arrogant, but at least he's good

So it was actually in the stadium then? - fair play, at least now you know you can do that part. How did you get it in, mate?SWLGooner wrote:If we had been out of the game it would have been shown but we were in with a shout till the last kick of the game and it would have been totally counterproductive to show it during a game against those c**ts when it was still finely balanced.
