Aaron Ramsey - statistics and form etc.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Is that supposed to be a compliment or an insult to Vinny?

I read today that Fancy Bollocks didn't warm up properly, which was why he wanted to be hooked off :censored:

He really is developing a despicable attitude. I'm sure the other players have it as well - to a lesser degree - given all the bullshit hyperbole they are fed by TOF.

Believed his own hype to early. Seems to have joined Chamberlain in going down the Theo route of not progressing.

I get the feeling Wenger's soft management approach is partly to blame.

The guy wants to play like a Fabregas (at his best) - popping up all over the pitch getting on the ball, lovely little touches, skipping around players, playing sweeping balls and deftly unpicking opposition defences.

He's just not got enough technical ability, creativity, passing range or composure for that role. Not even nearly.

The only role he is any good at is an industrious box-to-box role where he mucks in defensively, carries the ball well through the middle, uses the ball well/sensibly and busts a gut to get forward and join our attacks, getting into the box at the right time. It's the only role he has ever excelled at but seems to think that it is beneath him.

How the manager and coaching staff can sit there and watch him somehow get worse every week, stupid flicks and telegraphing mistakes time and time again, is beyond me.

The sad bit is that once he is fit and ready to play, Wenger will shoehorn him back in at the expense of a more deserving player. With Ramsey anywhere in the starting 11, we can guarantee that he will neglect his defensive duties and run around the pitch like a headless chicken.

First name on the team sheet when fit. No matter how badly he is playing, no matter how many times our attacks die at his feet, no matter how many stupid flicks and back-heels lose possession, no matter how many stray passes he gifts to the oppo. Welcome to the mad magical world of Arsene Wenger! :barscarf:

In this mad magical world Giroud runs like a gazelle, Walcott has the touch and finish of Henry, Captain Stupid Flamoney is a leader, The Ox and Wilshere are the new Petit and Vieira, Welbeck has the first touch of Bergkamp, and The Big German Vagina is the new Tony Adams.

It's scary that Wenger sees him as undroppable isn't it.

Indeed - if he can keep that consistency between now and the end of the season I'll be delighted :D

Elneny is getting an awful lot of plaudits recently. But lets face it, hes being praised, not because hes really good, its just because hes not Ramsey fs.
