The Banner

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I was thinking about the flag last night whilst reading this thread.
There was talk eariler about getting it into the ground without the stewards taking it.

I had an idea for another flag...which now now counter the counter flag! :?

How about another flag which reads "In Arsene we Trust!"
The steward would allow that.

So as the team enter the field of play you rip off the leading 'T', which was stuck on in velcro, to obviously read "In Arsene we rust!"

Stolen from a previous Gooner cover Boomer......
Really?!

As you know I don't read the Gooner....a case of great minds I guess. 8)

That's nothing like my idea unless you're refering to the actual phrase?

The idea was to sneek in a pro "In Arsene we trust" which once accepted and displayed early is altered to show "In Arsene we rust"
Good thinking - THAT might just work at least for a bit longer than any other (anti-) Arsene/Board Banners...mind you we are only the fans who pay the players wages etc etc...so why should our opinions count!? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

If the supporters can't be united then you can't expect the team to be.

Good Skills SWL,but I think that the Stewards and the AKB's will descend on it as soon as it is unfurled.
No criticism of the "True Path" will be tolerated at the Bowl!!!
Are you intending to give it an airing at the Sunderland game?If so,where will it be displayed?

To be honest, Nick - I can see you getting slapped by some mong AKB JCL cunto when you unfurl that bad boy. Be careful and maybe try and ensure you have a couple mates with you...

I think the stewards reaction will be interesting.

There is nothing offensive in any way on that banner but my guess is you will be ejected pretty much the moment it is displayed.

As someone else on here said, don't do this from your own seats and make sure you have passed your cards on to someone else.

You may well take a slap but I am sure there wil be plenty who would back you up too.

All the best.

If you are thrown out, then I think we should roganise some sort of complaint. As someone mentioned its not offensive in the least.

Yeah, a stern letter to the club should get them backtracking and saying sorry.

Not a "Wenger Out" banner as such but this didn't last too long at the Liverpool game

Great banner! None offensive? Check. Not contravening health and safety? Check. Falls within remit of free speech? Check.
Only an epic retard would have a problem with you expressing this point of view. If it is acceptable for a couple of plastic spastics to have 'IN ARSENE WE TRUST' banners at the ground, then it should be perfectly acceptable for an opposite philosophy to be aired.

Only an intellectual philistine would disagree with this.

As for the JCLs SWL mate, I am more than happy to go to the soulless concrete bowl and unfurl this for you. I will happily pay any AKB a set amount of cash to try and start any shit with me. I doubt it would happen...
Like I said, I've screamed some horrible things at Wenger the last time I was in the ground over a year ago...surrounded by AKBs and not one fronted up or squared up to me. They are pussies, and that includes those vaginas at Red Action.

MikeyB I have an excellent contact at TalkShite. I can get in touch with you, get you on the radio by tonight/tomorrow afternoon and you can put your message across loud and clear. Just drop me a line if you fancy it mate....
