They probably will stabalise. But a huge determining factor in a robust economy is confidence in the market. How foreign investors now view that slow recovery will be a huge determining factor in your mid to long term economic stability.

Also, I wonder what impact this will have on your farming economy? Most European Agricultural economies are subsidised to some extent. Not sure how much yours is?

And road building - EU funding for that considerable sector will be hard to replace?

Road building ? That's a novel idea.If we did some of that in East Anglia the sales of wishbones and track rod ends would collapse. Perhaps that's what George Osborne was talking about.

As for farming, all we seem to be growing are solar panels. Farms being paid to not grow crops and this in Norfolk which was once called the bread basket of Britain.

Lot of vitriol on Facebook this morning against Leave voters - surprised by some of the bile coming from people I know very well calling over half of the voting public arrogant idiots, selfish and frankly racist. That attitude is the whole reason that the Leave campaign won.

Absolutely moronic comments from brightonnxtround on here this morning.

Anybody who thinks that this is a magic fix suddenly is hugely mistaken - the real hard work starts now. The sky is not going to fall in because we have voted out but our approach and the agreements which we secure in th next few years will shape the impact of leaving on our country.

Some amazingly bitter recriminations alright. At the end of the day it is democracy. People voted. This is the result.

I think one of the determining factors in ensuring limited damage and any recovery or growth will be leadership. You will need a strong leader in the short to mid term and if (as is looking likely - and insane) that leader turns out to be walking talking moron Boris, then you my friends are a bit fucked!
