Why, if he is so good and generates such comraderie and positive club culture and the players apparently love him as do the fans and certainly the media (ie the opposite of AW)- why are his top players moving away - Goetze/Lewandowski?

Is it purely wages?
Hi,
Goetze said it is purely only because of Pep Guardiola  which we know is bollocks :blah:

Reasons are:
1. Double in salary, at least. Goetze was around 5 Millionen Euros he will double that at Munich, so will Lewandowski
2. With Bayern they will always have a realistic title chance, domestically and also international
3. Commercial impact. Bayern has a more world wide marketing impact for the players

Also Bayerns strategy has always been to target the key players of their rival domestic clubs to weaken the other side even if the players don't make it to the starting squad. Goetze seems to be a wish player from Guardiola, so he will play I guess. Don't know about Lewandowski.

Both also missed a chance to became life long hero’s at their current club, but I guess that is a football supporters romantic view :? :( !

Cheers,
Thomas

You also have to remember that Bayern went through a few years of being rubbish but came back strongly. We did not come back strongly that is the difference. Same applies to AC Milan and Juventus.

Amy Lawrence, usually in the know just tweeted,
Now PSG switch pressure elsewhere in north London. How will arsenal respond if PSG gameplan is for Capello to warm seat for Wenger?

I heard this on 5live's World football phone-in a couple of weeks ago and now Sky Italia are reporting it too so hopefully it has legs.

Seems strange though, as Fabio Capello is taking over at PSG, and Ancelotti goes to Madrid. Wonder why Capello is only taking over for a year?

Still, hopefully good news! It'll be interesting to see if Wanger is allowed to nickle-and-dime for players as part of another 'project' at a moneybags club though.

Al-Khelaifi tried unsuccessfully to take Wenger from Arsenal in the summer of 2011 and further soundings towards the end of last season once again failed to turn his head. Wenger has always respected his contracts and Ivan Gazidis, the Arsenal chief executive, has made it clear that he wants the Frenchman to sign a new long-term deal at the club.

Who benefits from keeping the *word censored* for another year ? :?

Certainly not us enlightened one's ( ) who have long since called for his removal.

Surely AFC couldnt benefit ? Will he sign the necessary players or will he leave them there so that he can sign them for psg in 12 months time ? What player would sign up for our club knowing that the guy that is signing them will be out of here in 12 months time ? How would our current players react if they knew that he was gone in 12 months time ? The manure team that had more backbone than our lot totally lost their direction when they knew ferguscum was leaving and old ferguscum rules with an iron fist so if he couldnt motivate/keep his players focused then why chance has our senile old *word censored* ?

How could psg benefit ? They would have to install a new manager that would be a dead man walking before he even took the job ? Why would the psg players listen to anything they are told to do by the interim manager ? Please dont tell me professional pride would keep them focused cos it is a rarety nowadays in football  Why would any reputable manager take on that role then ?

For me AFC have to either get wenker to sign a new contract (please no) or get rid of him now (orgasmic thoughts :barscarf: ) and failure to do either is just another example of a rudderless club showing little or no ambition and little or no ability to make the tough necessary decisions
