The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If he does sign he will be a great signing. We need a world class defensive midfielder and he fits the bill.

The only reason that you wouldn't spend now to head off that risk, is if you feel that the risk is negligible and if that is the case then why hold off spending the impending cash injection ?
Yeah, can't argue with that, only thing I can think that they think we have enough to go through and are just being cautious incase the unthinkable happens.

We are a very cautious club aint we.

You will be left disappointed.

Lads, come on. It being all over the news means nothing. How many times do we have to see this? One place puts out a tentative rumour and countless others just regurgitate it.

The Metro is actually surprisingly decent when it comes to rumours, probably because they dont have to sell themselves.

Good...I'm pretty happy with what we have going forward....i know a lot of people want a new striker but I think we have a lot of goals in the team as it is.

Today proved we are desperate for a DM...hopefully that's what wenger was referring to when he said about another signing..Flamini tackling was poor today and Arteta seems to have got slower (if that's possible).

We're a top class DM away from winning the league. Hope we can convince TV to stay on as well.

Billy Carvalho is the one. I don't think Wenger is interested in Khedira.
