The Official Arsenal v Everton thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Happy days. Pat Rice must have been allowed to give them a bollocking at half time as that second half was much better (well, can't have got worse really!)

Really happy we managed to come back and get a win but despite winning the game there were a lot of things that I can't say I'm too pleased about.

Can we have our money back for Silvestre please? Imagine if we'd played with this defence against a team with better attacking players..we'd been slaughtred like at old Trafford 01.

What was the matter with RvP and his shooting today?

Ade, please stop diving.

Nasri, what's the odds on him being out for another few weeks now?

I'm dreading the game in Turkey now..

everton away fans today what happened

Post by rtpgooner »

does anybody know what happened in the away fans section today. by the barrier seperating the home and away fans it looked like it all kicked off, went on for 5 minutes. were they fighting police/stewards/arsenal fans. i was sitting orange quadrant uppier tier 99 so i didnt have the best view of it. was just curious what happened. 2 incident now at the emirates. the hull fans in the arsenal section, and now this.

Arsenal were spitting and throwing coins from above at the scousers, causing them to kick off with the stewards and OB, apparantly one mickey tried to get over the segregation barrier. Have heard that it kicked off outside after the game

Some guy outside the ground told me the everton fans were fighting each other, it wouldn't surprize me by any stretch of the imagination. N5's view does sound more feasible. What went on in the Hull game?
