You know why 89 will live on in many Gooners hearts and minds not only was it so dramatic, It was we waited so bloody long for it, No title win will ever fill like 89 to me!
I have watch Arsenal for over 25 years Ive seen some of the greatest football and some of the worst but one thing that sets me apart is I have sampled both where as yourself haven't

My housemate is a big Chelsea fan (c*nt! ) and it's amazing to think that when they finally won the league - for the first time since 1955!! - he admitted that it didn't feel as orgasmic and euphoric as he'd imagined.. and he was honest enough to admit, that because of Abramovich and his investment, it was always inevitable they'd win the league sooner or later... as is the case with the Champions League.

In my opinon, he's missed out on the emotion of winning the title the proper way. The relief and euphoria that surrounded Anfield '89 and even the double in '98 are very special moments.

Anyway, back to your post... I think Calo is much older than you think, mate

he really should. i was born in 87 so all ive known is success and i am in no hurry to win anything. im a firm believer that a few more years without silverwear should weed out the plastics and day-trippers and we can almost have our club back.
