Please be nice to William Gallas - No BOOS please !!!!!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Would you boo Henry if he returned?

Or Hleb?

Or Flamini?

The way flamoney left certainly warrants some serious stick in my eyes quartz.

Hleb I would abuse left, right and centre cos I hated the *word censored* when he was here anyway

To be honest I cant understand why this thread was even started :? In my opinion nobody was ever really threatening to abuse gallas anyway and it just appears to be another mad thread calo pulled from his arse  As bad as gallas has behaved it doesnt, in my mind at least, go nearly as far as the behaviour of our greedy togolese *word censored* who some still nice songs about  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

if you read the whole thread you will see my fears are justified

and after the boos that ade got I thinks its something our great fourm should address

we should patrol the game together and immediately STOP anybody booing Gallas

Please remind them how adepooring confidence has been distroyed and he will be lucky to score 15 PL goals this season

be on your guard lads

we still need him to plug the hole in our defence

If you read the whole thread properly you will see that only 1 member expressed an inclination to boo gallas so was there any real need for this discussion ?

Secondly greedybayor will be lucky to score 15 league goals this season cos (a) the *word censored* cant stay onside enough & (b) his conversion rate is akin to a player playing in league 2 ffs  This over-rated *word censored* has an inflated sense of self importance, believes he is worth 80k per week and as a result shit on the club and its fans the whole fcuking summer so he deserves every bit of abuse he gets and then some

Lastly gallas has plugged fcuk all holes in our defense this season. The first 3 league goals we conceded this season were all down to him and the wonderful gallas/silvestre partnership has conceded 9 goals in 5 games so it is hardly the stuff of legends is it  Anyway more importantly his presence amongst the team cannot be good for anybody right now and I would play bouldie ahead of him now

To be fair to him he was out of position at times covering for an increasingly immobile Toure.

This will sound nuts but until we hopefully buy a new centre back in January, we will need Gallas, IF he has his mind right.

If he does not have his act together, then might as well pair Song and Djourou at centre back.
At least they have experience of keeping a clean sheet together!

As for Calo's point on Ade, his form has dropped since he has been booed from the start of this season.

Not sure if the two things are linked, as the poor form may be a number of other reasons.

On booing Hleb, Flamini and Henry:

For arguments sake: If you could rewind the clock back to 1982, and our next two home games were Juventus and Man Utd, would you boo Brady and Stapleton?

How did their leaving differ from Flamini's or Henry's?

There are some things in common...

More money.

Chance to play for a so called "glamour team".

Experience of playing in a different country.

If players want to leave that is their prerogative...just as long as they avoid a public scene, such as Cole meeting Kenyon in the restaurant, then I bear no grudge.

I am sure someone will boo him tomorrow nite even though I try not to...

He is one of the best defenders for us at the moment, but you never know what his head was thinking. He even threatened to score an own goal if Chelsea didn't agree to sell him (though we don't know it is true or not). Anyway as most people here said, if he plays well, I will support him cos he is wearing the Arsenal shirt...but if he intends to make silly mistakes, I am sorry, I have no other choices

Anyone who wants to boo kindly f**k off down to WHL - you can boo to your heart's content over there as far as I'm concerned. The team need our support and I am fed up of the boo boys and the early leavers at the Grove. Hopefully they'll switch their allegiance to ManUre next season.

Let's thank Gallas for his time as captain, move on, support him as a member of the team and look forward to a new era with Cesc. And don't forget we can soon celebrate the return of everyone's favourite Crozilian.

I'm a glass is half full kind of guy...

Quartz you respnded to my blaming gallas for the first 3 league goals conceded this season by stating that he was covering for an immobile toure but all 3 goals were conceded from corners/set pieces and it was gallas's man each time so there aint no blaming of kolo there :o

I'll be getting on the backs of anyone who does boo Gallas. They may say they pay their money so than can boo if they want, well I pay my money so I can tell them to 'shut the fuck up and get behind them' then.

Gallas made a big mistake but why should the rest of the team be affected by it.

I think it's down to us to react to any booing and stamp it out. All the booing should be reserved exclusively for the c**t ref's we get esp. Wiley & Riley.

you who boo would BE GULITY of SAME CRIME

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
im not entirely sure how many of the people who write threads or post topics on here actually go to the games: that not a dig btw just my opinion.

i think we are all entitled to our own views, but booing a player is certainly not the arsenal way.

im just reading paul cannoville's book - the first black player at chelsea, and he was saying that it really hurt him thatn wen his name was read out on the tannoy, he got booed while the other players got cheered.

its not big, its not clever and it certainly doesnt help develop any talent we ahve. gallas may be a wanker, but booing him tonight won't help.

NEVER boo your own. I'm not happy with Bendtner's laziness and his massive unjustified ego. I'm still raging at that mercenary wankhole Greedywhore. I'm pissed off with Gallas whining like a bitch to the press. I despise Eboue's diving, acting and elbowing.

BUT I'll never boo any of them while they wear our jersey.

The only exception I think I'd ever make would be someone like Joey Barton, a fucking common or garden variety cuntslop if ever there was one. If we lowered ourselves to sign a scumbag thug like that I'd be booing my fucking head off.
