BLACKBURN THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Blackburn will try and rough us up in this one, and i can see it being very scrappy, id be happy with a 1-0.

We're over in Dublin for the weekend (father-in-law's birthday) and I was over the moon when I was flicking through the NTL guide and got the news that the Arsenal were the main match this afternoon!!!

A friend across the road has a "dodgybox" so I may even venture across to watch Man Utd v Liverpool as well. Looks like all the makings of a very nice day :barscarf: !

There is also the suggestion to go and watch Dublin GAA play in Parnell Park later. Bit cold though - can't have too much of a good thing....

from the beeb

1437: Arsenal winger Theo Walcott makes his first start since his comeback from a shoulder injury, while Andrey Arshavin, Johan Djourou and Alex Song also come into the first XI - William Gallas, Abou Diaby, Emmanuel Eboue and Robin van Persie are the four who make way. Blackburn make three changes, having had a midweek game against Fulham, bringing in Danny Simpson, Aaron Mokoena and Zurab Khizanishvili for Ryan Nelsen, Keith Andrews and Tugay
