Didn't work against Roma did it?
That's Roma not Villarreal.

Oh! and the likelihood is that we're gonna have to play a final in our Championship winning (89) away shirt.

reading Manure forums the reckon we won't get past Villarreal and if we do they will trash us anyway. Do they not remember us beating them 2-1?

wish e were at home first st.....as the away team is normally in 2 minds whether to attack or defend and usually end up doin neither aand we can blow em away first leg and know tht we can hit em on the counter attack sencond leg and get an away goal that will end the tie .

always like the fact that you know what you have to do in the 2nd leg away , whether to go and attack and get away goals which are so crucial

Man u or Porto Vs Villarreal or Arsenal
That what they (above) said just written in different way.

Arsenal will be away first when we beat Villarreal
or
Man U/Porto will be at home first when we beat Villarreal.

When the draw was made I was well pleased with it but when you sit back and look at it and consider the fact that they have held the mancs scoreless home and away this season then it begins to look a more tricky tie. On our day (as the old cliche goes) we can beat anybody but problem is those days are not as frequent as we like especially in games like this one where we will be favourites to win. Still I wont complain on the draw and hopefully by the time it comes around we will have put 6 points between us and villa so confidence will be high.

By the way I think that we would be classed as the home team if we got to the final if I heard the draw correctly

Off the official website means we are actually the away team. Which means we will be able to wear our '89 commerative away shirt, ideally against the bin dippers, in the final to really piss'em off

Fucking excited about this draw! I can't wait to see Pires back in North London. Exciting that we play Villareal away first, I think our "new signings" will be well up for this and can't see us messing this one up considering our current run(I know we lost in Rome).

I think playing the mancs in the semi's is a great advantage cause if we manage to get past Villareal and the mancs the team will surely be gleaming with confidence.

So my fingers are crossed and hoping this can be our year, I've got a damn good feeling about this year! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
