If you want a seriously good album that isn't Green Day then can I suggest Natalie Imbruglia. I'm not sure of the album title but it is the one that has Shiver on it. Excellent album IMO. (she's worth a good knobbing too)
Its strange these two Green day songs are the two i hate. I love their earlier stuff especially the Insomniac album

Ive always been into The Foo fighters, Radiohead, The Strokes, The Libertines, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, The Cure, The Smiths, The Beastie Boys, Sex Pistols, Kanye West and loads more i have them on my iPod and have it plumbed into my car radio so listen to them all on my journeys

for digger

welcome to paradise
nice guys finish last
macys day parade (5* track)

as a rule (generally) all bands are better in the earlier days of their careers before money takes hold.

Yeah, definitely the first two  Not hugely keen on Macy's Day Parade, but haven't listened to Warning in a long time.

Changed my in-car music today.

The replacements were Green Day, The Hollies (1960's , you youngsters missed out on some really good stuff), and SQUEEZE (cheers for reminding me, Franksav).

I have a good sound system in my old Jaguar. I really pumped it up on the way home from work.

Ain't music fucking wonderful stuff?

For the last few weeks the same CD has been playing in my car and I'm not even remotley sick of it. May be my favorite rap album of all time.

Eminem: Relapse. Fucking absolutley brilliant. 15 classic Dr. Dre beats and the lyrics and flow of the man himself Marshall Mathers.
