A real gobshite's comment. How the fuck can you know anything about what I've seen? I've been travelling to games since 1991 and I can guarantee you I've done it spending a fuckload more money than most to do it too.
if a player bottles it....they dissapear from the game they dont get involved they dont put themselves in with chance of making a difference because there too afraid to do it
And you obviously have never played football. Bottling a chance is totally different to disapearing in a game. Many players disapear through fatigue or laziness or injury. That is not bottling it. Bottling it is being one on one with the keeper TWICE and fucking up both easy chances because the occasion gets to the player.
if we had hung on for a win or he had scored that 2nd he would have been hailed for his performance that night!
woulda coulda shoulda...

You can say that all day. He didn't score, we lost; that is what happened.
Henry worked hard in Paris and I credit him that, but it doesn't change the fact he bottled it when it mattered most. He failed to net two chances that he would have buried with his eyes closed against any team at Highbury in the PL.
Look, I'm a HUGE Henry fan, after DB10 he is the greatest player I have ever seen in the flesh and he should have won the world player at least twice. But I can take the rose tinted specs off and be honest about it too; he never performed in any final for us. He was instrumental in us getting to those finals (and invaluable in us winning leagues) but he bottled every final he played in. That is fact.
