The double talk wenger comes out with gives all the inclination that he ain't going to buy and hope Bendtner etc come back in time for January and he sprout those infamous sayings:-
''he's like a new signing''
''I have confidence in my players''
etc etc etc,and the board will breathe a sigh of relief that a few million is still safely in the bank building interest.
he is already making excuses for when he doesn't buy:-he's too expensive or he's not available blah, blah, blah BUT and it's a big but if like last year there was a very good chance we miss out on C/L spot then we buy as the board will see the financial implications and get wenger to let the moths out of his wallet...
god bless porn...

I think most just assume he's out of our price range because, as you say, he's a goal machine.
To be honest, I've never watched Wolsfburg or Bosnia on tv, so he's totally off my radar. He does seem to bang them in, though.
Anyway, IF he's an option then you better be hoping Wolfsburg lose against ManUre next week, as a win will see them qualify for the CL knockout stage... hence, any deal would probably be off the table (or double the price!)

A fair bit mate, been watching Wolfsburg for around three seasons...and everytime i watch the Bundesliga highlights Dzeko is scoring all the time. I have close friends in Dortmund and essen and they rave about the kid. i have done my homework...the kid is special and I reckon well within our price range

Fair enough Sammy. I have to disagree however, and say that the standard and style of play in the Bundesliga makes me have doubts whether the guy is worth £20m+ overall
And I have great friends in Alsace, but I have no idea what AW is going to do next

ok, in conceding the point that the Bundesliga is not of the best quality, how about his international strike rate? 14 in 23 caps isn't bad, even better if you consider he represents Bosnia Herzegovina.
Wolfsburg have the better head to head than CSKA, plus united will have a pathetic back four so i'm pretty sure they will go through to the next round AND he would be cup tied. AND he would be considered too similar to Bendtner.
We wont be buying Dzeko, besides, he's shorter than super nick
