That was the solution I (and probaby most gooners) wanted. Although, I'm sure I read that he demanded to be SOLD and not loaned out?? - not sure how reliable that information was though (probably Goal.com )

We will agree to disagree one this one Radford...I've always rated Diarra very highly - far more techincal ability and talent than Flamini imo.

Would Diarra not have stepped forward into that midfield today and given Fabregas and Diaby the freedom to attack with the force that their talent deserves ?
Oh I forgot - having the audacity to suggest that he should play a few games for the first team when he was pushing for a place in France's Euro 08 squad - what a shocker. Rotten egg and all that.
