Lassana Diarra

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So, he wanted to PLAY football.... I can't criticise him for that.
I still don't get why we didn't loan him to Portsmouth for 6 months. Seeing as " 'Arry loves a deal", it would have suited all parties.
That was the solution I (and probaby most gooners) wanted. Although, I'm sure I read that he demanded to be SOLD and not loaned out?? :? - not sure how reliable that information was though (probably Goal.com    )

Ah, well - we've got Song and Denilson now, so it all turned out ok in the end.... sort of... :? :?

Radford has to accept the fact that Lass Diarra is a World Class Player and we should never have sold him for a pittance.

radford is sorry to inform kiki that lassa is not the world class player you think he is. he is a very good player but do world class players sit on the bench?

further to that radford says he was sold because he was a petulant little shit.

We will agree to disagree one this one Radford...I've always rated Diarra very highly - far more techincal ability and talent than Flamini imo.

Each entitled to their own opinion.

Radford you will need to get a picture of this Great Arsenal striker as your avatar

Quite amusing reading through these posts having not reviewed them for a few days

Would Diarra not have stepped forward into that midfield today and given Fabregas and Diaby the freedom to attack with the force that their talent deserves ?

Oh I forgot - having the audacity to suggest that he should play a few games for the first team when he was pushing for a place in France's Euro 08 squad - what a shocker. Rotten egg and all that.
