As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

on his website he said he is fine and that he was surprised to be on the bench.
Apparantly wenger came out saying that he thinks nasri is better suited for the wing due to his pace..... i really hope this dosnt mean denilson in the middle.
For this game the team almost writes itself

sagna tv sol clichy
diaby song nasri
walcott bendtner arshavin
for the fans the only point of debate is whether or not rosicky starts ahead of walcott but you know wenger can be in a world of his own at times

I'm in London on a course at the mo and was wondering if there is a good pub to watch the match in tomorrow night with some fellow gooners, any suggestions?

bad news
Could it not be seen as good news that he isnt being risked? Unless anyone has extra info about the injury?
Not to risk him because of the injury is right imo. I wouldn´t risk him. There are more crucial games to come.
But without Cesc the squad is much more weak.

watch in any pubs around Holloway Road (Wig & Gown, Phibbers, Bailey, Herbert Chapman etc) or the 12 pins by Finsbury Park. probably ur best bet.
Obviously a much better team with Cesc, but let him get his rest, tomorrow is set up perfectly for someone to make a name for themselves. Just got a feeling it will be Bendtners night, with Nasri putting in a very tidy performance.
We have to score first in this match, that would mean Porto have to go after the game as we would be ahead on away goals. We could hit them on the counter attack then with Theo's pace up front.
