Henry - I’ll be an Arsenal fan until I die

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i'm not knocking Henry the footballer and as i said - we will always be indebted for what he did for Arsenal

and even I see him as a legend and a god amonst us gooners - all i was moaning about is these so called footballers - who leave a club and then come out with this crap about i am an Arsenal fan till i die -

It's not just a generalisation at Henry it's all these players who go on to say this

Let's see what he does for us when he retires

Watching Henry actually playing for us was like wakin up with Megan Fox on the end of my knob whilst being handed a cup of tea by Angelina Jolie (none of her 8 kids in sight either). It was a pleasure. Taxi please, for Chunky.
Classic first post, Bertie, and absolutely bang on.
Henry is one of the top three players to grace the Premier League.
(Bergkamp's another and you take your pick for the final spot).
He's also our record goalscorer in 124 years of history.
He's a true Arsenal great.
But he'll never come back to Arsenal as a player. He's at the age that his powers are on the wane.
But we should be bloody grateful to have had TH14 in a Gunners shirt during the best years of his career.

amen. 8)

and if our captain keeps on playing like he is now for the next couple of seasons (and doesn't leave the club), you bet he should be there with them.

Absolute bollocks N16

EDIT... Just seen your further comments

Words like Great and Legend are banded around too easily these days. Henry was both Great and a Legend and always will be in AFC history

Footballs a job Chunky, if Henry got offered fortunesd to play for city would I begrudge him going? No, he has a right to earn what he wants. He didn't leave us for money.
