Diaby

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Not one of his better games tonight, in his defence he was one of our better players on Saturday.

Disappointing tonight everything he tried went to ratshit. I think the nerves got to him and he lost his confidence.

This wasn't Diaby that played for Arsenal in the last month or so, this was the start of the season Diaby.

He looked tired and didn't have his regular amazing control of the ball. He didn't looked sharp and I have a feeling he wasn't 100% fit.

I would rest him on saturday, becuase we need a fit Diaby, if our midfield trio want to stand a chance against Iniesta, Toure and Xavi.

With all due respect that has to be the most ridiculous comment of the day.Do you watch arsenal play????
I wouldn't say that is a 'ridiculous' comment at all. 'GoonerN5' is quite right especially about Diaby who doesn't have very good tactical awareness. Alex Song has almost won me over but he is no comparision to Mattieu Flamini or obviously Vieira in his day.
wow  just wow

Have to agree with you there Merse... :groaner:

Song, with all due respect to Cesc and Vermaelen, is by far, our best player this season. And he's not a money grabbing *word censored* like your mate Flamini.

He was abysmal tonight. He trotted around, tackled nobody and spent his time losing the ball or passing to the opposition. Inept.

Spare prick at a wedding tonight, as he has been many times this season. His biggest problem (aside from consistency), is a bad game for him is REALLY bad, he doesn't have slightly off games!!
Just read on one of the newsnow links that he can't play next week, after his booking........is that right?
