Also...to those with the AC/DC Iron Man II album
...is it worth getting? I do not own any other AC/DC album (although I hear them all the time on the radio...).
No it isn't! Go and buy "Powerage" or "If you want blood".And listen to the real AC/DC.
But I thought this was some kind of compilation?
I've listened to plenty of AC/DC. The airwaves are saturated with them here.

They're from Bondi.
Australia actually has a very strong music scene actually. Well, if you have good taste in music anyway...
Karnivool, Cog, Sugar Army, Sleep Parade, The Butterfly Effect, Gyroscope, Dead Letter Circus...
Or if you're a bit more mainstream and "sheep-like" there's always the likes of Wolfmother and Powderfinger.
I thought you liked AC/DC Rebel? They're "Aussie"...
Or have you listened to Australian Crawl? Another older Aussie band.

Mellow does not equal mainstream though...
Have you listened to Porcupine Tree? Not an Aussie band but a brilliant one.
Listen to Australian Crawl though, you may like them. I do. And they get plenty of mainstream airplay. Not sure when exactly they were around but certainly long before my time.

I like Midnight Oil!
Would it worry you to know that their ex-singer is now a politician though...
Trust me I think you'll like Australian Crawl. Listen to "Errol", "The Boys Light Up" and "Reckless". Very good songs.

Airbourne are a good aussie band, very much like ACDC. Jet are Ok 1st album was good.

I've been of the opinion that Airbourne are just wankers trying to ride on the AC/DC bandwagon. They're essentially a cover band...

Gap?
If there's a gap it should be filled by bands with talent.
