What makes your workload harder is the threads that have nothing to do with Arsenal that go on forever with the usual crew having their daily love in! I have no problem with it at all, but not to the detriment of good threads![]()

One last time...
If we leave open every new Cesc thread or even that one it will soon run to 10 pages of basically the same stuff on the other open one or two or whatever. Then someone looks down the pages and posts on the older thread. Great. Now two (or more) threads open, each 10 pages long, all the same stuff more or less and we mods have to read it all.
DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING TO YOU?
I can assure you that is not the case, we just want some respect for the Arsenal related posts we put on here
Im not saying I know your job on here, or that Id do it - but the point to be taken from this is that the OLD cesc threads should be locked once they havnt had a comment for a few weeks, allowing the NEW one to continue, its recent, its topical and as said by others it makes it easier to get our views across - which is the point of this place surely?
As i keep saying, its the non-arsenal threads staying open that is the frustrating part - and surely they are the ones more likely to contain abuse etc and increase your "workload".
Not if there hasnt been comments for weeks, and you put a link to a new thread on there instead of shutting it down like Friar Tuck on speed.

No for me too. Great suggestion though!Charlie! Charlie! wrote:noTheCook wrote:So is anyone else tempted to post something hugely offensive / libellous / racist / homophobic on a different thread just to check if it actually gets spotted and removed?
Well im sorry, but that has little or no weight compared to threads locked down minutes after - it is incredibly frustrating when you think about and write a reply only to see it locked - especially with some of the other stuff that is left up here.DB10GOONER wrote:And I'm telling you we do.Bendtners Drinking Buddy wrote:DB10GOONER wrote:And then we get the author of the original thread whining because we shut his thread down.Bendtners Drinking Buddy wrote:DB10GOONER wrote: Ah... that's what it comes down to with you pair isn't it? Yep, ive lost an hour as well, i came here stupidly thinking I could write about Arsenal, but there you go.RoscommonGooner wrote:There's 10 odd minutes I'm never going to get back
That is a very unfair point when you look at our posts.DB10GOONER wrote:I'm done with this particular issue. I'll leave this open if you all want to post on it but I really don't have the time to keep repeating myself.
I have explained my actions and my reasons (which is more than you would get from some of my mod colleagues).
Personally I think swale and his mates are just a little too precious for this forum. I mean the bloke did a "I'm leaving" strop and then didn't leave... Dear God, if my 5 year old son did that I'd be embarrassed.
Basically you lads have never been happy here, you whine about everything. Why continue? Why not move on? I have to be honest and say you won't be missed. Different strokes for different folks.
You came to this forum and basically decided you would try to change it by whining about everything you don't agree with. It ain't gonna change for you. You have to fit in here, not the other way round.
Not advisable!!!TheCook wrote:So is anyone else tempted to post something hugely offensive / libellous / racist / homophobic on a different thread just to check if it actually gets spotted and removed?
