He does but not upfront, the lad is exactly like Diaby (Jack of all trades but master of none). Its taken our reserve team coaching staff forever to find his best position and imo as a striker he is nothing compared to Afobe or Aneke.
that's very harsh, mate.
i think he looked terrific on the wings or up front. he's very big and strong, but still can pass the ball quickly and has great technique.
i like JET and i do think he is already first team material.
You know for the first time I actually agree with GunnerDude.
Whilst I would not write off JET at his age, I just have a hunch that he will be a utility squad player for us, and that Afobe, Aneke and Wellington Silva are the better talents up front.
Although I bet if we dont sign him and he does turn out to be the new drogba people will be after Wengers head. Although you imagine he'd be long gone by that point.... maybe

out for surely?
How did you get a picture of Yeovils old ground on your signiture MIG?
The problem is to pass up Lukaku ultimately either makes a lie of all the "youth system" talk or at the very least proves the oyuth system is not some grand managerial ideal but a purely financially-driven exercise, as it would confimr yet again that the standard for youth recruits is their cost first and not their quality.
To me not signing Lukaku only confuses things that much more about what our Club's real ambition is and priorities are further.

Then again, so was Kjaer (Wenger was a fool not tosign him, you know!) who ended up signing for the mighty Wolsfburg on the cheap, instead of the big money move to a European giant, as was often reported.
I would question that statement g88ner. How many centre backs these days go for big money? How many centre backs went for big money in the summer? How many of anyone went for big money?
Kjaer was sold for around £12m, which is a big money transfer - for anyone this summer, and for a centre back? How much dod Ozil cost - £15m? And Wolfsburg may not be the big name - but perhaps they were just the ones who had the money to spend.
Agree with everything else, but just thought you were missing some perspective on this point

I've never seen Kjaer play, but for the hype that surrounded him (and the abuse aimed at Wenger on here for NOT signing him) it struck me as odd that such a talented defender wasn't snapped up by Citeh, Real Madrid, Braca, Inter, of one of the other clubs. Wolfsburg was an odd move.
I must say though, I didn't realise he was sold for that much - I thought it was much less, so £12m is certainly not 'on the cheap'.

Wolfsburg has won the Bundesliga recently and put up the money. I'm not someone who was hugely upset by missing out on him though I certainly would have happy if we got had him too.
