do the pitch invaders deserve a ban?

oh, cmon, we've already had a lot of kids running on the pitch, they even played for us in the competitions as UCL, FA and EPL ... why banning these? :D:D:D:D

Because they just run on think there the big 'I am'. Do nothing to help the team, don't improve the atmosphere and when on the field usually just stand there in the final third expecting something to happen.......I've just described Bendtner haven't I? :?

If we beat ipswich in the semi's at the emirates I reckon we should all pitch invade, I mean we would have made it to the finals 8)

Mind you Villa did when they beat blackburn :o

By the end of that match I have to admit that I thought things were flagging match-wise. I quite enjoyed them running on and particularly the one over by the east stand avoiding the stewards!

The last two lads were properly taken down by the stewards. Unnecessary force I thought. Wound up or not that was an over-reaction by them. Surely they were still minors, regardless of them breaking the law or not...

Pretty sure the last kid headbutted one stewards knee on the way down after being rugby tackled by the other one. But I don’t think it was excessive force, by that point the steward probably just couldn’t be arsed to run anymore, saw his chance & took it.

Lifetime bans would be stupidly harsh. If you spent the rest of your life paying for every mistake you made as a teenager we’d all be screwed. But I agree there has to be some sort of action or it’ll just happen every time. Can we definitely get lifetime bans for any & everyone that was trying to get the Mexican c*nting wave going though! Wouldn’t be surprised if the same kids weren't involved. On second thoughts, ban the pricks!

Of course it won't.

The only reason those kids went to the game is that tickets were £10.

Not many teenagers attend Arsenal league/CL/FA CUP games nowdays.

Yep, the club expressly states that at league games, if kids want to run on to the pitch, they must be accompanied by an adult.

Scumbags were probably faking incapacity benefit and squeezed out a crisis loan to pay for the hooligan kids to go the match. :barscarf:

Lifetime ban?????????? For running on the pitch? He'd be like 60 years old and saying to him self "why did I run on the pitch 45 years ago!!!!"

Plus if that's the case ban everyone that pitch invaded at birmingham yesterday

It's an illegal offence, which therefore warrants a considerable punishment.

A lifetime ban does seem a bit harsh though. :?

no need for a lifetime ban, that's too rough. i'd do it like this:

"the kids are banned until eboué scores with a bycicle kick and clichy manages to complete a successful cross right in the same match".

I suspect that is going to work out as longer than a life time ban.

Or he could wait a year until he's grown some facial hair and re-registered for a red membership in another name. I can't see them enforcing it :D
