Evra interview on french tv

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I remember when Evra was at Monaco, he once said "If we don't win at least 3 trophies this season, it won't be enough". They were top of the League, qualified in the next round in Champion's League and in Cup ... at the end of the year they won fuck all :lol:

To be fair he has won three league titles and a european cup which is three titles and a european cup more than anyone at our club.

Evra is a wrecked ship. His WC antics have been televised world wide and the recpetion when he came back to France was not very friendly. THe media and football personalities were rightfully very harsh on them. Evra, Ribery, Gallas, Toulalan, Gourcuff... All the main characters of the fiasco have their confidence buried six feet under. (Except Anelka who has his head so far up his own ass that he could'nt ever doubt himself)

Evra refers to us as kids but most people I know associate the word "kid" with "evra" lately....

I doubt Arsene is the sort of manager who will do such things to get the players fired up. He is most likely to tell the players to ignore everything thats being said and go out and play pretty football.

Evra for all the success he has had with Manure has some serious issues with us. He got some kicking in one of the games against us for some of his comments, hes still holding a grudge for that.
Kinda like Mourinho, with all the success he has had, he nevers fails to take a jibe at Arsenal and Arsene.
