I thought - at the time - that the Walcott / Arshavin substitution was the correct decision. Walcott was very much in the game, but failed to produce anything of note.

And the game needed a creative player to try to unlock the stubborn City defence. Of all our substitutes available, Arshavin was that man. Sadly, he did absolutely nothing, and in hindsight, Walcott should've stayed on as he was at least more actively involved in the game.

Introducing Bendtner was a ludicrous decision. As I mentioned, we needed some flair and creativity to break down the City defence - what's a 6ft+ fox in the box with the touch of a rapist meant to do?

Useless Wenger, useless.

Walcott had every right to be upset at being replaced by the lazy fecker. As soon as he came on,I decided I would be happy with a draw.Very good performance tonite but subs that came on confirm why we cant win the league.

Fat waste of space at the moment and I wouldn't mind if he went in January.

Unfortunatly AA has been in a poor form lately... Either he gets his act together quickly, or he can f*ck off as far as I'm concerned. His lazyness is even less forgiveable as he is very talented!!!

Theres a good chance Theo will be in the shit with the gic for showing such dissension as he trudged off. Shaking his head and obviously questioning the gic is just not done in this communist regime :banghead: :banghead:
Would love to know what MC29 has done to be third choice striker. Wenger sort your head out man!!!

Wenger said Chamakh is tired, and his performances dropped off in December. Being rested for a few games might be good for him.

Sums up what is wrong with Arsenal FC at the moment.

We have a world class talent in our midst, we are playing him in the wrong position but yet it's his fault

Theo 'blind alley, no brain but will track back occassionally' Walcott ahead of Andrey Arshavin?

Do me a favour.

AA23 was shocking last night. Fucking flick this, backheel that, lose possession. Awful stuff. :(

Walcott played well, was looking to get the ball and be involved, passed well, ran his guts out... and Wenger takes him off and brings on the laziest player in the current squad who is also waaaaay out of form. And then he brings on Benny... the big slow kid in the playground that gets picked last for every game of footy... genius... not. :banghead:

Agree there Rodders, extremely poor. espeically as Benny boy should of been put in the box, for a few high balls. Granted they had 8 in defence for sure, but we might of got the odd knockdown-push in the box, one never knows..! Shame we could of had the extra two points.

You have to admit that AA23 was awful last night, no matter what position he was playing in. He didn't even attempt to do the simple things right. From his first touch it was just silly tricks, flicks and backheels - none of which worked.

Don't get me wrong, I think AA23 is one of our few players that is true top quality, with technique and vision to burn but at present (for months now really) he has been poor. I would add that his drop in form may be to do with the reasons I posted earlier on this thread. But I think it is undeniable that taking Walcott off and bringing AA23 on (in last night's game) was a mistake.

He was a world class talent, but doesn't give a fuck anymore and may I add that clichy looked much better with nasri in front of him...
