DIRTY LEEDS F.A. CUP 3RD ROUND THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'd like to think we'll see Rambo but he'll be edged slowly into games.

You're probably right but i dont see why he shouldnt play, hes been playing at championship level anyway - he should be able to cope at home to leeds.

The other option imo would be to start wilshere or even cesc and try and get the game wrapped up by half time and then give rambo a run out. We all know this level of thought is beyond the old goat anyway so its all academic really. 8)

True.
From the other thread Jack is now rested along with Nasri. Cesc still in the squad.

stupid idea
if we can't rest our best players in home draws against lower div opposition when can me
even if those two picked up a yellow in whats sure to be a fiesty game it could end up costing us a future suspension in a vital league game
let alone, god forbid, an injury

we have the deepest squad we have ever had under wenger
(and a wage bill to match) to justify that he simply has to rest all our key players

personally I see the mistake @wigan, apart from me going all that bloody way,
was waiting too long to bring on the subs rather than the starting XI
(the fact Probert is a cheat didnt help)

Starting with the FA Cup this year (and next years C/C)
I'd like to start seeing Theo up front in a 4-4-2.

Me too, I'd like to see him paired up with Vela in the creative-feeding role for him. I think the last time those two played up front was against Olympiakos last season where they were admittedly gash (even though Ramsey and Merida ran the show) but I'd still like them to be given another shot at it.

Perfect game for Nordtveit to start as well.........oh.
