It was me on the spud site. If you look at the zzz thread I said i was on there as surreyyid. I was trying to do a more gentle wind up but was too subtle for them.

Please don't accuse me of being a closet scum! Been a gooner all my life. First game at Highbury in 1969! See you on Saturday at AG if you need proof!

Almunia. 7. The free kick wasn't unstoppable and if it wasn't for Gallas long leg I reckon Liverpool would have scored in the last minute of the game, apart from that he was alert and made a couple of good saves.

Sagna. 7. Did his job..as always.

Toure 7.5. Quality as always and love watching him going on his attacking runs...our central defenders are more attacking than most others fullbacks, :D. Booking was a bit clumsy though.

Gallas 7.5. More attckaing than usually and saved us with a great tackle in the last minute.

Clichy 7. Not at his very best but a solid performance.

Eboue 6 Still doesn't look comfortable in midfield and keep mixing some pretty stuff with some very sloppy passing. Thought the way he stayed down after Carragher's elbow was very poor as well...yes it was bad but as soon as the play had stopped he looked just fine. We tried to attack and someone really need to talk to him about all this drama queen stuff!

Cesc 8. No need to talk about his game as he always puts in a quality performance but worth mentioning is that he didn't let missing an open goal affect him...last season it would have. He's now Lampard with skills!

Flamini. 6. Just wasn't his day and I reckon Gilberto will be backa agasint Manure next weekend.

Rosciky 7. Can do a lot better but a decent performance.

Hleb 8. Played in his favourite position today and did well. Perfect timing when he set up Fabs goal.

Adebayor 7. Usually likes to play on his own upfront but was pretty quiet today.

Sorry Jake, your ratings look a little kind to me:

Almunia 6.5: Fine, and not at fault for the goal, but looked at full stretch several times when he should have been more comfortable.

Sagna 7: Good but not quite up to his excellent standards.

Toure 6.5: Ok but made a couple of mistakes. Ballsed up our attacking free-kick near the end by not getting his shot away and had to pass tamely out to the wing.

Gallas 6: Sluggish through much of the game, hoofed the ball a couple of times when he could have passed. Got better, and his saving tackle from Crouch was very good.

Clichy 7: As Sagna.

Eboue 7: Yes, his passing is eratic but when he gets it right, it works big-time. He played several flicks that changed the shape of play, including the one that led to Ade's first half shot blocked by Reina.

Cesc 7: Were it not for his goal and the great movement that led to it, and the superb long range shot against the post, I'd give him a 6. Passes went astray and he missed an open goal. A long way short of classic Cesc.

Flamini 6: At fault for the goal by peeling off the wall - if he'd stayed where he should have been, he'd have blocked Gerrard's shot. Would have been painful but that was his job. Performance through the game not great.

Rosicky 6.5: Did little today, looked off the pace.

Hleb 7.5: Probably our best player today, but still not as good as he has been. He was the source of much of our good stuff today though.

Ade 7: Did ok, and made life hard for the defenders, but didn't translate it into shots.

Subs: Gilberto looked good when he came on. Bendtner was alright but that miss from the rebound was very poor. Walcott didn't manage much.

AFTER TRAILING FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE MATCH, WE GOT A DRAW AT ANFIELD - YES, ANFIELD!! - COULD HAVE HAD A WIN AND DOMINATED POSSESSION FOR LONG PERIODS AGAINST A TEAM THAT WAS REALLY UP FOR IT AFTER ALL THE CRITICISM THEY'VE HAD THIS PAST WEEK. I KNOW THINGS AREN'T 100% PERFECT BUT WHAT MORE DO SOME OF YOU WANT? :?

THE SIX OR SO MONTHS I HAVE SPENT ON THIS FORUM HAVE TAUGHT ME ONE THING - THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE THAT WILL NEVER, EVER BE PLEASED!! AND THIS IS BEING WRITTEN BY ME, ONE OF THE PRE-SEASON PESSIMISTS!!

BY THE WAY, IT WAS BETWEEN HLEB AND CESC FOR MY M.O.T.M. AWARD.

I've heard that The Rocket has an extensive range of reds available on a Saturday.

Mostly full-bodied

You're right, we should be pleased to get a point at Anfield, and yes, we are probably a bit over-demanding, but the players could have won the game yesterday. Liverpool have been off colour recently, and if Arsenal had just been a little bit better at creating real chances and taking those that were there, we would have won. Arsenal have done better in previous games, simple as that.

Like your choice of MOTM though!

for what its worth,, we now go to anfield and are disapointed with a draw, could have and should have won but will take the point after been behind for 70min,, a few players were better then others ,, thought our defence was great but why couldnt they stand still in the wall for the bloody free,, cesc played well as did flamini, eboue is a waste of space and rosicky will have better days,, hleb ran his socks off and adebayor wasnt up to it
the point will look a lot better if we beat the other crunts next sat

IN TERMS OF OUR PASSING AND BALL DOMINATION I ACTUALLY THOUGHT THAT WAS ONE OF OUR BEST TEAM PERFORMANCES OF THE SEASON. 8)

ONLY ADEBAYOR, EBOUE AND TOMAS WERE BELOW PAR BUT THE REST PLAYED WELL - AGAIN, CONSIDERING THE VENUE AND MAGNITUDE OF THE MATCH. THE ONLY THING LACKING WAS THAT CUTTING THRUST IN THE FINAL THIRD, AND IT WOULDN'T BE THE FIRST OR LAST TIME WE'VE SAID THAT!!

ALL IN ALL IT WAS AN EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE AND BEFORE THE MATCH I WOULD HAVE HAPPILY SETTLED FOR A POINT. THE FACT THAT WE ARE DISAPPOINTED WITH GETTING 'ONLY' A DRAW AT ANFIELD IS PROOF OF HOW FAR THINGS HAVE PROGRESSED THIS SEASON IN COMPARISON TO LAST. 8)

LET'S ALL ENJOY IT BECAUSE IN TRUTH, THE MAJORITY OF US COULDN'T HAVE DREAMT THAT WE WOULD HAVE AS GOOD A START AS WE HAVE DONE. 8) ALTHOUGH CRITICISM CAN BE GOOD, I DON'T BELIEVE NOW IS THE TIME TO NIT-PICK!
