Sky atlantic has just launched today. the new home of all HBO programming in the UK. looks pretty decent as their showing broadwalk empire and are showing sopranos, curb, 6ft under from the very begining.

it must be the first time I've used that emoticon to someone other than USM

Bit harsh as having a channel like sky atlantic would influence my decision as to wheter get sky which was the point of the original post.

If you must though; sky atlantic will be showing quality HBO programming. One such great programme from HBO is the wire, the wire has a central character called stringer bell, stringer bell is played by the brilliant English actor called idris elba, idris elba is a massive gooner, the gooners is the nickname for the team we call THE ARSENAL.
