That's funny, isn't it you're lot that talk about us more, write blogs about our pathetic rugby style tactics and moan about us in the media?

You my friend are a 'fan' of the most pathetic and hypocritical club in England.
How many threads have we got about Stoke on the first page, one maybe two?

Why are Stoke so obsessed with us? Not like we're rivals. They're a nothing club with a nobody manager and fans who think Delap is a good footballer. Can't just be bigoted north/south thing can it?

Hello red snapper! What are you doing here?

I think its just a result of the ramsey thing and the fact that we are polar opposites in our approach and the fact that they are a bunch of small minded *word censored*.

They are just precious darlings who for all their bluster about southern pansies are throwing their toys out over having their style criticised. They cant see the wood for the trees and are thus refusing to face up to the fact that by every conceivable measure their football is diabolical.

Arsenal, in their minds, represents the centre of this criticism which was heightened after the shawcross-ramsey affair.

Fans are by nature blinkered in times like this so i can understand why we arent their favourite club but the level of obsession is completely embarrassing

The Coyleisation of Bolton has been ridiculously overplayed, if you actually watch them. They're still in the bottom 3 teams in terms of number of passes and they still try to hit Davies as much as they ever did.

At best, they've done some fine tinkering around the edges.
And 'events' like that gorgeous goal they scored a few months ago seems to have confirmed them as a mini-Barceloan to the sheep-like media who don't like to do much original thinking or proper analysis.
Shit I actually agree with this guy

A new low...

Am I out of line suggesting that it turned into a very good debate over there? Some of them weren't pig ignorant!

I tend to agree. It seems that the 'dirty' tag is what is getting their goat. But to blame the entire media perception of them as dirty on us is bonkers. If anything the media have a go at us for being weak, so how are they on our side and against Stoke... the simple truth is that they're not.

Stoke have a 'dirty' tag because of their style of play more than anything. Every team makes bad and late challenges. Their's show up even more because they play the ball in the air and are physical. In reality they are no worse than most other teams in the League. We make our fair share of dodgy challenges.
