Some fans are blind

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sunderland is a crucial game and they are a good side. We can't underestimate them. But I would also hope that Nic is good enough to do a job.

Barca is a different game altogether and Wenger might change tactics.
WTF does Wenger know about tactics. If he knew what tactics were, we might have won the Carling Cup and would not have conceded 4 at Newcastle after being 4-0 UP!

Mourinho - Now there's a bloke who knows tactics.
And yet Arsene got his tactics spot on to beat Barca 2-1 yet earlier in the season Mourinho's team got raped 5-0 to the same side....

Sunderland 1-2 Notts County
Stevenage 3-1 Newcastle
Reading 1-0 West Brom
Leicester City 2-2 Manchester City
Doncaster 2-2 Wolves
Notts County 1-1 Manchester City
Manchester United 1-0 Crawley
Everton 0-1 Reading

All examples of teams struggling against poorer opposition in this seasons FA Cup. Yes we should beat Orient, and no you shouldnt get carried away, but for Arsenal to win 5-0 and our fans to still be moaning is laughable. As i said to some fellah when he was walking back to the train station stating how shit everyone was, if we are consistantly shit and win 5-0 then how can you be unhappy?

A player like Bendtner is playing from the wide right, out of position, and interestingly scores a great Hat-trick, attacked the header brilliantly for the first goal, popped up on the left hand side for the second cut inside beat the defenders and curled a great strike into the far corner (This was after running and winning a sliding tackle to win the ball back and restart the attack) and finished off with a penalty, if your not happy with a Hat-trick from your striker what on earth are you happy with?

Abou Diaby can be collossus for us, we really really need him fit. 69 passes 100% completion rate, he made very very penetrating runs and his feet for a big man are superb, we all crave consistancy and he was showing that this season, lets hope he can pick up from where he left off.

radford suggests that you think again...diaby was playing against orient and he's been rubbish for years.

Yes of course, one of the greatest football managers of this generation, maybe any generation...but knows nothing about tactics!! Brilliant!! this place amazes me....its like a holding pen for the thick!!
 six fucking years and nothing to show but catalogue of excuses and false promises of great future ahead

Yeh I agree with this

Last night was a true reflection at all. The fringe players are in a word shit. Denilson with his sloppy passes and his bad fucking attitude. Yes Barry scored 3 but his attitude stinks and against teams like Sunderland and Barca he wont be scoring 3.

Made me laugh the sheep oh I mean fans singing 1 arsene wenger and Wenger give us a wave!!!!

The worst thing for me is loosing RVP, Theo and Cesc I would take them all back for the cost of the carling cup but that is not a choice.

I can say for 100000000000000% certainty we wont win games without them.
This was truly embarrassing even more than the 'who are ya's' to Orient and Barry cupping his ears to Orient fans
On the same subject, I find the ''WHO'' when players of the opposition are subbed off and on just as irriatating, it's patronising to the extreme, especially when aimed at lower league teams.
Oooo how dare them Arsenal fans take the piss out of the opposition. Were you there last night?
I wasn't there last night, but what's that got to do with the price of chips, it's probably the ones who do this, who also start the stupid ole's...
The Orient players were all clapped off at FT. So I don't it has anything to do with lack of respect.

Diaby gets a hard time for no real reason. He's a good player who has had little luck. If he can stay fit and get a run of games he will show what he can do.

He has all the technical abillity to make it at this level, unfortunately he doesn't have a brain to go with it.

Perhaps Louder and Diaby share a brain?

This isn't the same brain that Theo was missing a few months back. The same Theo that is now going to be sorely missed in the Nou camp ?

The reading of the game comes with time on the pitch. And as Diaby has missed a big chunk of the past few seasons, all he needs is playing time.

It isn't Theo's brain that we're going to miss, it's his pace.

He still has Diaby-like tendencies in the brain area.

As someone once said of Theo, ''You can run as fast as you like, if you can't control the ball you're no f*cking good to anyone !''.

So is Theo good enough for you or not, now ?

It's not as simple as that. Ye, he has pace - but often he still doesn't make the right decision when he has the ball, better, but still not consistent enough.

Controlling the ball is a physical action, making the correct decision is a mental one, requiring brain activity.

He is not yet as good as he needs to be. Better, but not finished.

Controlling the ball under pressure is as much mental as it is physical, Marc'. If it wasn't then confidence wouldn't be an issue and Arshavin wouldn't have looked a shadow of the player he is for the past couple of months, same goes for Torres.

So is Theo good enough or what ?
