WEST BROM AWAY. CAN IT GET ANY WORSE?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Only if Djourou makes a miraculous recovery. We have a combined defence of Beavis,Butthead and Coco.....3-2 to the baggies

Will be a strange atmosphere at this one I think. Not really looking forward to going

Westbrom 3 arsenal 2

I don’t want to boycott matches but I really feel I have too now. Enough is enough
Seriously considering this as well, but I'd miss the away craic.....but the attitude of manager and some players to our loyalty to the Arsenal is really getting on my nerves

a- if u refuse to accept mathematical reality its hard to argue with you. 2nd is better than 3rd. We haven't chosen to play in a weaker league, you play whats in front of you.
b- check the others fixtures 4th is pretty unlikely even if we lose almost every week simply because they all play each other + tough games like pool away and stoke
(that said theres no serious diff between 3rd and 4th is there...? cant remember CL qualifying rules for next year)
Finishing 3rd means we wouldnt have to play in the qualifying round.

unlike rooney or drogba?
some of these complaints are just disillusionment with modern football in general...
(don't see it with the manager tbh)

Rooney & Drogba might be total wankers off the pitch but they deliver regularly on the pitch for their respective teams. They also help to deliver trophies on a regular basis . . . . . .

Rooney's work-rate against us last week was phenomenal. Denil-shit or Diaby wouldn't expend that much energy in a whole season!! That's the main reason that so many of us are disillusioned!!

God knows what the team will look like on saturday. I'll go for:

Almunia
Sagna Squilacci Kos Clichy

Rosicky Denilshit Jack

Nasri RVP Arshavin

Would like to see ramsey instead of denilshit mind.

I see where your coming from, but herein lies the problem. Names on paper.

Where's the backbone, where'e the strength, where's the balance, where's the leadership?

If we played man u on paper in the cup, we win. But in real life...

Hmmm, point.

Technically it looks good. I'd like to see Jack and Rambo (Or JackBo as I'll now call them) form a nice partnership with the dribblers (not in the mental sense) in front of them.
