Another ignorant cunt. By your reckoning all English people are racist, hooligan scum then? Because we could judge all of you based on the "antics" of a minority of the fans of your national team abroad, couldn't we? Yeah, if we were all thick fuckers like you. You need to be fucking educated you fucking idiot.
I am not judging anyone, just showing that there is another side to it.If I upset you,I apologise, but your remarks are out of order. If you read another post related to this subject,I no longer wear England shirts,go to England matches.or watch them in pubs:- for two reasons,
1, schools in England,(via political correctness),have left alot of us ashamed to have been born here.
2, I,and a couple of mates,in 2004 were told by a community copper, that the wearing of our England shirts while walking through town.(we were on our way to watch a match),could cause offence! The two Slovakian lads that we were with,(we worked with them and were taking them out for a beer as they were new to the place),thought that it was hilarious that wearing our national shirts,in our own country, could be questioned in that way.I have never worn an England shirt since that day.

Bradywasking wrote:Think this thread should end now....we can all sling mud at all other nationalities or religions etc..There are many people in Ireland who hate St.Patrick's Day and that is a shame. Their (mine included) hatred for the day comes from the mindless orgy of drinking which turns into mindless violence and vandalism..The shame is that it should be a day of celebration for families to watch parades etc. I have no objection to a few pints to round off the day, but it's an all day orgy when kids are forgotten and let run wild. Underage drinking is out of control. Then as the day goes on the "bar stool republicans" slobber their stupid opinions. As said earlier Rangers losing on TV would add to the night. Same idiots will be back in the pubs tomorrow or Sunday with their Man U or Liverpool shirts on..
I am Irish , I'm proud of it, I'm proud of our history and those who made it. I am also an Arsenal fan and have been for 40 years. I joined the Online Gooner Forum to read and express views on the Club I love. We as Arsenal fans detest the xenophobia in the media about Arsenal and their players. This forum shouldn't become a forum for xenophobic views. This is about Arsenal and expressing many contrasting views about Arsenal and football in general. No harm to occasionally go off the subjects, but it shouldn't develope on the lines of this thread..
The Arsenal is bigger then any nation imo 8)

The following is a quote from DB10Gooner on the "This time next week" thread here on the Basement:
"Paddys Day in Dublin has gone to the dogs.Lots of fights and all those celtic mongs singing IRA songs-fucking idiots."

So,are you condemning an entire nation-like you accused me of doing?

I don't wish to speak for the small one RG, but he clearly isn't. He is describing his what it's like in Dublin. As you described your own personal experience.

Then you said "So Fuck St.Patrick's day"

:?

You are right the "Fuck St. Patricks day" line is/was out of order.
Please accept an unreserved apology!!
But I stand by the rest, and Iam not impressed by the personal abuse from DB10,he called us "ignorant *word censored*" for allegedly using the antics of a few,to condemn an entire nation. My point is that you could say exactly the same about his comments.

The difference is you finished your little write up with "So Fuck St Patricks Day!" which IS tarring every Irish person with the same brush by association (If you had such a good education that would be self evident to you) whereas I am commenting on a handful of idiots that are well known in Ireland for their mong-like behaviour. Further, the fact that you are English and not Irish lends a racist/xenophobic tone to your comment about another nation (again, self evident).

You PM'd me on this and then posted it all here so I won't be replying to your PM. I'll reply here. The difference between mods on this forum and others is we are allowed have an opinion as we are not paid for the work we do. The other difference is you would have been banned for your comment on another forum. Here, we let you know what we think of you rather than ban you for a first offence.

You've apologised for your stupid comment so I will leave it at that. But be warned, we do not entertain racism on this forum.

I assume,DB10, that you do not intend to apologise for YOUR abuse though. The st Patrick day remark that I made was meant to be sarcastic, but I accept that it was stupid, and apologised. However,I never made any anti Irish remarks,(the lads I was talking about were not Irish as far I as was aware),and I never refered to them as such.In fact the comments that I made were remarkably similar to yours, but you won't even acknowledge that,so I fucking give up.

All the animals come out on St.Patricks Day- whores, skunk pussies, buggers, queens, fairies, dopers, junkies, sick, venal. Someday a real rain will come and wash all this scum off the streets.

Anyway, St Patrick was a Welshman.

I am liking the 15 Irishmen on the pitch at Croke Park right now. All I have to is rely on Wales to beat France in Paris.

Happy St Patricks Day, to all my Celtic cousins even if they fornicate with goats.
