Board Sells - Kroenke Takes Control Of Club!!
there is a lot more to come out in the way of how the shares are going to be bought,
usmanov can also make a counter offer and we dont know what games the present board are playing,
i dont know if this is a good thing or bad but one thing is for sure if he puts the debt onto the club he will not be a popular man for long.

He'll be as fussed about that as the Hicks' and Gillettes of this worldREBEL GOONER wrote:there is a lot more to come out in the way of how the shares are going to be bought,

That is the key to this. It certainly makes a lie of the claims that we didn't want his sort at Arsenal.Mr FINSBURY PARK GOONER wrote:Please also remember that Stan Kroenke could not afford to pay £50m he owed former share holders (whos shares he purchesed) just over a year ago. so how the hell is going to finance £500m to buy The Arsenal?

i think he will want to be popular, its an ego trip for these people. plus the fans are a bit wiser these days thanks to the likes of gillette and hicks so we know what the *word censored* are up too.
Very true spot on mate. Kroenke will most likely bring DD back as I imagine he must have good relations with him.rigsby wrote:Can I just point out the new UEFA rules coming in. Wouldn't be financially shrewd would it to do a Glazer style deal.
Dein wanted Korenke in from the start didn't he? Be nice to see someone who knew what they were doing for a change. As much as he was a bit of a c**t, at least he was an Arsenal c**t
One more thing at least his MLS team ain't bottlers! They won the double last year when no one thought they could even challenge for trophies.

Is their agreement a gentlemans one or otherwise?REBEL GOONER wrote:there is a lot more to come out in the way of how the shares are going to be bought,

Im an expert but if Kroenke offers say a £1 and Usmanov offers £1.01 the sharholders dont have to take the highest offer

"As represented by the AST, Arsenal fans "would fight any plans that require the club to incur debt to pay for a takeover, as has happened at Manchester United and Liverpool", but Kroenke has pointed out that none of his sporting ventures in the United States operate in this way and he has never done a leveraged buy-out. The New York Times said, "Though some Arsenal fans worry a new owner will saddle the club with debt and curb the signing of players, that has not been Mr. Kroenke's style. "Whatever his method is, Kroenke is not a man whose name has been associated with greed."REBEL GOONER wrote:there is a lot more to come out in the way of how the shares are going to be bought,

The "We don't want his sort" thing was just PHW talking in his usual likeable idiot mode.USMartin wrote:That is the key to this. The time has come for us to stand up and be counted! We owe it to the people who have supported this club for the past 125 years to act as checks and balances to this guys financial slights of hand.We must not allow him to buy OUR club by borrowing against it!!!USMartin wrote:That is the key to this.
