THE GOODBYE BIRMINGHAM THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Agree.

I also have a weird soft spot for Wigan. Martinez seems like a decent bloke, i also like their football and the romance of the one man and his dog who support the club managing to stay in the PL for the past 6 years.

:barscarf: Really sad to see Blackpool go down, who gave a right go at it and played some good attacking football.

So happy Birmingham went down. Kinda makes me feel a little better about the fortune I wasted om my Carling Cup ticket

I am chuffed Wolves stayed up. Mcarthy is a decent bloke who I have seen a couple of times shopping at Bluewater!!!! Both times I chatted to him and he was great, very friendly. Top man.

P.S - Mick, if you are reading I am not a stalker

   We've worked so hard to build bridges this last 15 months or so. You gooners on here don't know this but I'm overseeing work to fill in the three open corners at The Britannia Stadium so that Mr.Wenger can bring all of the kids he's fathered to the game here next season.

EE,I don't know, you do your best and it gets thrown back in your face. Oh well,I'll carry on building bridges whilst you guys are sunning yourselves in the Seychelles on your summer break,ta ta.

Seychelles is very much last year's destination of choice.

Us minted Southerners are currently choosing between the Maldives and Antigua.

Anyway, hope you enjoy your week in Blackpool.

And good luck with all the bridge building. You're doing a triffic job of it.

Thanks,I'll do my best and I'll also be enjoying a spot of donkey lashing in Blackpool this summer!

Incidentally,I brought the new CD soundtrack for the 2010-11 Premier League season. There's a bit of rock, some jazz and a bit of classical on it. But no Blues !
