WILL CESC GO DOWN AS AN ARSENAL LEGEND???

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Great player, big loss, won't be getting a 'legend DVD' made I don't think.
agree - quality player, awful captain, legend - no way.

I think the pictures of him getting off with his new shirt have effectively ended any legend discussions

I think we should just say that he was a great player for us, and leave it at that.

All this stuff about legend or not is nonsense.

Defo not a legend, but was the best player we had of a very poor bunch - good luck to him, and like Henry probably had to leave to win the CL and other trophies

depends on what your own definition of legend is, but, he would certainly make the all time starting XI.

No. No way near a legend. Great player in an average Arsenal team.

Behave

He was a gifted footballer for us, but wouldn't get anywhere near an all-time team.

Already a Barcelona legend in my opinion. Who can forget that sublime backheel to Iniesta to set up Messi's goal and send us out of the Champions League.

Bitter, Moi?

Legend? Nah, was good but the last couple of seasons with the Barca business, a lot of supporters got disappointed with him and he lost a lot of respect!

LEGENDS: HENRY, BERGKAMP, ADAMS AND MANY MORE!

Cesc: Arsenal made him what he is now, but not a legend I'm afraid!
