Manure Away match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'll likely be in The Piccadilly (bout 500 metres from the station opposite tesco)

Although if there's a few from here meeting up somewhere else, I'm all for it :drunk:
Loads off us off here drinking in the Balcony Bar, Marty. Come and join us, first lot of us get in at quarter past twelve, beers, Jager and songs! :barscarf:
Will do mate. I'll be arriving (engineering works pending!) a little before that time so will come have a couple of beers for sure :barscarf:
Good man, you've still got my number yeah? Give me or Simon a bell when you are around
Nah mate, I ain't got yours or Simon's. I'm on a new number & phone for the last couple of months

If only we could make a big signing between now and Sunday, would give the club, players and fans a massive boost and we may go into the game with a positive mindset. Shame the *word censored* in charge doesn't think like that.

Indeed, be great to have a new face buzzing about for that game.

I'm sure the lads have got a lift from the result, hopefully it gives them a bit of belief.

Despite last night I still think we are going to get humped- the way we conceded that goal suggest we still have soft centre without a partner for TV5

with all of the suspensions and Jack out plus the two that have left , i think we will get tonked. A case that our season then starts after the international break.

A quality signing now would lift the players and fans but I fear a real fucking at old Shatford on Sunday no matter what... and with Old Rednose announcing that Howard Webb is fit and ready to play for the Manure filth we are doubly fucked. I guarantee he will give them a soft as shite penno. GUARANFUCKINGTEE IT. :banghead:

With all the talk of Webb being in charge on Sunday I deceided to look at some of the markets regarding penalties.

Penalty Awarded?
Yes 7/4

Team To Score a Penalty?
ManUre 4/1
The Arsenal 9/1

Team To Miss a Penalty?
ManUre 11/1
The Arsenal 25/1

wenger will try his revolutionary tactic: 4-2-1-3.

four in defence, two in the middle, 1 up front and 3 shitting their pants in the bench

Midfield?

Would be at present Ramsey - Rosicky - Lansbury or even Traore I guess.

Jesus wept!

I know we need a world class mid fielder but Ramsey looked impressive. He was calm, picking out passes and making the right movements.
