I´d like to see:

2 more CB
1 left back
1 right back
2 def. midfielders
1 striker

but I think AW will sign only 1

At least 1 strapping CB like Samba or Mertesacker (2 CB's ideally).

1 LB (Baines ideally)

1 holding midfielder (M'Vila would be okay, not Scott Parker - no more short asses!)

1 creative player - everyone agrees on Hazard, but probably will be Arteta - another injury prone player.

1 striker - looks like Korean rather than Sow or Benzema.

So at least four, but I think we need about 8. As our squad depth is not good and by the end of the window we would have sold/loaned at least 5 players!

By the way isnt there a contradiction in the theme of this thread ? The heading of the thread asks how many signings would it take to appease us but the question itself asks how many signings we are expecting to see and for me there is a huge gulf between those two answers

I deliberate (and rightly) chose not to use the word 'happy' as thing are far from it.
So the question was effectively how many would you like to see?

There was a similar poll (I think by BG) that was how many are you expecting Wenger to sign. I believed the majority of us Gooner aren't expecting Wenger to make many if any. However should he sign a player...or two I suspected it wouldn't be enough to appease us.
As the poll suggests it certainly looks that way.
