Ok, if you use the URL button for google it shows

[.url]http://www.google.co.uk/[./url]

Instead of this, insert a =http://www.google.co.uk/ after the url but in front of the ]

after the ] then type the short cut you want for example (and please omit the full stops!) google

[.url=http://www.google.co.uk/]google[./url]

This is the code (but without the full stops before the first 'url' and the end '/'

[.url=http://www.onlinegooner.com/article.php ... ve&id=2449]This[./url]

Essentially you are replacing the web address with your shortcut but adding an =(plus actual url) after the url
