OFFICIAL ARSENAL V OLYMPIACOS THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Why are people worried about AW 'fielding a weak side'? He has been fielding a weak side every single game of every single season since the 2008/9 season! Why worry about tonight in particular? Arsene will field a side that is as strong as that strongest side that did us so proud in that Carling Cup final against Birmingham! Or at home to Spuds last season! Or at Ewood park!

Oxlade-Chamberlain will hopefully get some decent game time tonight.

Chamakh is a good player mate, his confidence has been completely destroyed.

He was superb at Bordeaux and his record in the CL and the french league were very good. He came to Arsenal and continued that form at the start of last season.

A combination of RVP coming back (and chamakh getting dropped) and whatever that thing in the papers was last year meant his confidence just dropped through the floor.

You dont just become a shit player overnight and if he can recover to the form he showed when he first joined us he'd be a good player still.
