Predicted Carling Cup attendance v Bolton

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I was there and think it was closer to 51k, still a very good attendance all things considered. Great support.

I actually thought that once everyone was in the ground it looked fuller than on Sunday. Good attendance though, gotta be the best of the round again...

Just watched the game on Arsenal Player. Park looks a lot sharper than Chamakh I would say.

Don't forget with the 56k all of club level is counted, even though half, if that of the seats were filled. Lower tier was full, more full than Sunday, upper tier had empty patches but was very visibly more occupied than Shrewsbury.

51k actually there is probably about right.

BBC R5 Alan Greene & cohorts saying during the Stoke commentary this evening that there was 20,000 empty seats last night AND season ticket holders didn't turn up

Total bullshite & lies & usual anti Arsenal crap the media, why couldn't they just admit it was a very good crowd for the Carling Cup, even if it was just over 50K??? :banghead:

Its a mystery why the BBC see fit to employ this gobshite, the man is an utter *word censored*. It probably never occured to him that CC is not included on the season ticket.
