As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

See Baba, now you're just twisting the facts to make Wenger look better... ;) MacD I find it odd you call Babatunde a broken record when all you do is post the same fucking quote...

I seem to remember baborieteya moaning that the draw at St James was particularly poor because Newcastle were going down

obviously he has pretty much correctly predicted every loss and failed to predict any other result
I can't be arsed to work it our but I'm guessing my "we'll win every game" stats are superior

Babatunde wrote:Topgoon it's not the optimism that is the problem. I can understand that. It is actually the misguided beliefs of a plethora of jokers who actually believe we are having a decent season because of the 'unbeaten run' and that have spent months claiming that Arteta, Mertesacker, Jenkinson, Santos, Benayoun and Park are decent players; when none of them would get a game at Crystal Palace....

It's also the circle of shit, on a loop every year for the past seven. Some of you lot can stand back and bury your heads in the sand and try to overlook the serious problem that Spuds are now a better team than us. I won't. I don't care how many years Wenger finished ahead of Spuds beforehand. In that period the financial gap between Arsenal and Spuds has gotten even bigger as a result of our CL advantage...and yet the footballing gap has somehow been overturned. That's unacceptable and wouldn't be allowed to happen in any other serious club with demanding fans. But lots of our fans aren't demanding. Just submissive.

If you think even a single Spud fan would be giving vocal backing to one of their managers after an 7-2 defeat at e.g. Chelski; think again.
I stopped coming on here for a while for the sentence that I highlighted, opinions are one thing but the insults on here are bit of a joke. Half the insults that are slung around here to other gooners would end up in a serious fight if it was repeated in a pub or at a game.

The 'plethora of jokers' pay their money and also have a right to an opinion same as you. You may not like their opinions but the are entitle to it.

I am not picking on just you, there's a few on here up to the same bollocks. If it's not good whole hearted banter and just hurling of insults, then might as well be on a scum site to be insulted :? :(

By the way an employee(AW) will continue on in a job if his employers(The board) are happy with the job he's doing.
Nothing will change till we start to lose money in a big way ie no champs league,no bums on posh seats etc..........

So till then sit back and enjoy the ride and remember football success goes in cycles, it's quite possible we've had our time as top dogs in London for now and it's now Spurs turn.

That's not lack of ambition just reality. No team has a divine right to anything...as Manure fans will find out when the alcoholic Glaswegian finally f**ks to a nursing home somewhere.

Cycles????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

How does somebody with a massive financial advantage. An advantage gained by selling our history and loyal support down the river, turn that advantage into a situation where we are now 6th in the pecking order in England?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Is that how cycles work? Are you suggesting that it is simply a matter of time and fate??????????????????????????????????? A cycle simply overcomes the massive financial differential between us and Spurs because.............................. "it is time".

You, sir, are a clown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dig that quote out and I'll suck you off myself.
You've just made it up though, so stick to being of an inferior intellectual fabric eh?

Or shall I reel off some of your amazing outstanding pro-Wenger hilarities? Because you've pulled out some absolute corkers, including your contention that Chamakh is 'a quality player'.

Oooooh you get paid for your opinions though eh!
