O'Neill new Sunderland manager

Maybe he wanted to manage a team that is reasonably assured of at least being at major tournaments and an outside bet to go far in them? The bloke has always struck me as quite ambitious.

Personally I think the bloke is an utter *word censored*, but, and its an important but, his track record of improving each of the clubs he's managed has been very credible.

Hard to see how he wouldn't improve Sunderland, and no doubt he'll get up the GIC's nose on several occasions.

Decent piece of recruitment by the Mackems I think

I still remember him blowing his top when Wenger complimented his villa side and said they were very good at playing long balls. Fair comment i thought since they spent every Saturday pumping long balls for agbonlahor and young to chase but apparently not :lol:
