Dont need to be a cop to smash the fuck out of C18 DB 10
I know - but as a cop you can do it without the risk of ending up in court. 8)

I remember RTE (Oirish TV station) actually went from the studio back to the ground to show the scum getting nightsticked by the riot squad that night. The announcer said "There have been developments at Lansdowne Road" or something like that. And they showed the beating live on TV. Hilarious.

George Graham was magic , remember Anfield 89 (the best moment ever) , closely followed by Copenhagen (what a magic few days we had then, if you were there singing 1 nil to the Arsenal you will remember how brilliant it was).

It doesn't matter if he managed Spurs , hey he even played for the chavs !

The club failed to invest in top quality players after the 2 league championships, only buying Ian Wright for serious cash because he wanted to leave Palace. This was the exact time to spend with Liverpool fading & Mancs still yet to dominate. The club failed to compete & left the field open.

GG ended up having to cobble a team together with sub standard players & still won cups & a European trophy, with a patched up midfield & Wright suspended.

The lack of quality players especially in midfield & very predictable attacking play with Wright meant Arsenal were well short of making a title challenge for the rest of GG's era

As soon as Rioch arrived the club suddenly splashed out for Platt & Berkamp, GG never got that sort of financial backing & was wanted out for years beforehand by the board

He was a great manager for us, and I have fond memories of following Arsenal during that time.

BUT..

He did manage the scum. Infact havign a browse around the web I came across a few articles at the time with him saying things like People go on to me about the Tottenham-Arsenal thing, and I have magnificent memories from Highbury," he says. "But I'm Tottenham now, through and through."

Now this could be bravado, but it still sticks in my throat. I was gutted when he went to that lot, him with the League Cup that year pissed me off no end. But I'ld say I've moved on now. I'm sure he did it to just get back at the Arsenal board.

So have you forgiven George for his 'betrayal'?
If he'd got them relegated I could have forgiven him maybe.

But Naaah he's a *word censored***d and can fuckk right orff. :banghead:

Interesting comment - any reason as to why ?

Graham did buy, Helder and Kiwomya just a few weeks before leaving the club so he was given money to some degree.
