i dunno, this time last year when he played against Wolves for Liverpool he was starting to get his form back.Since he's moved, his touch has gone, pace is shot etc.Rosie_titters wrote:Metalheadz Gooner wrote:Where the fuck did Torres's pace go?
have you just noticed, he lost it about 2 years ago
He's basically Chelsea's version of Chamakh.

I'm a big fan of Frimpong. I dont get what people's problem with him is? People moan that players these days show no passion and are dull, yet when we get a promising young player (He's only going to get better from here, and he's already good) who love's the club and is entertaining off the pitch aswell, people hate him?
Can't wait until next season. Frimmy with experience and a fully fit Wilshere in the squad
(If Wenger hasnt sold them by then and replaced them with a 14 year old Nigerian who plays in ligue 2

I agree DarylAFC. Although he is far from the finished product - and to be fair, who is at 19? - the lad has got plenty of character and that is what so many of the signings in recent years have lacked.
Some of the twitter nonsense apart, I for one like Frimpong and look forward to seeing him hopefully fulfilling his talent and becoming an intrigue part of our squad and team for years to come.
Hearing that today he apparently blew kisses at the Spurs crowd when going off just makes me like him that little bit more!!

daryl what the fuck are on about people hating frimmy? come on now, this is a player that acts billy big bollocks on twitter, made an unfunny and childish comment at pat rice's expense, makes irrational, stupid tackles, and uses the word dench as an adjective, verb and noun!
he has made 5 appearances for us, all of them showing us he is a class above and seems to hate the scum- what better are we going to get from players these days? at least he loves the club.
I like him, however there is a different between having a joke/banter and doing it inappriotely , I don't hold it against him, he's just a bit naive and silly. fair enough.

I like Frimpong it's a shame we don't have a Vieira/TA/Keown to knock the Billy big-bollocks crap out of him.
I think there is definitely talent there as he showed before his injury 18months ago and admirably against a more experienced Shitty side more recently.
The right word in his ear and we could have a proper player on our hands who loves the club....can yo imagine him patrolling our midfield for years to come next to Jack. Those 2 would know what it means to be 2nil up at home to the filth or 3-1 up away.
On 5live the scum fans seemed to be really p****d off with him and sounds like he really got stuck in...good for him.

By the way, I watched the whole 90 minutes online today and he was playing like an irresponsible fuckwit. McCarthy had the sense to sub him after the ref gave him his third warning following a booking.......if only the Self Harmer could see what the other 60,000 saw coming in the game at home to Liverpool
What I fucking hate is that people have promoted this guy to some kind of legend status after a handful of appearances, during which he's played mostly irresponsibly
Its as irrational to build this guy into a hero as it is to criticise him.
There are aspects of his game I like but he needs to learn quickly. He's a bigger liability than Coquelin who has had the benefit of being loaned out. I hope Frimpong comes back from Wolves better for the experience......I'm sure McCarthy had a word in his ear (as did Roger Johnson on a few occasions)

I hear what you say and I mostly ignore Twitter but where as Jack and the others mostly enjoy banter amongst themselves, Frimpong is frequently revelling in people licking his arse and giving it all the "you're gonna get Frimponged" shit.Gunnersaurus wrote:He's 19, he's still a kid, let him be a kid, he will mature, how many of us are like we were when we were 19?
He's got it, this loan will do him good, he has Passion, that's what we crave, forget twitter, all footballers are nobs on that, look at Jack.
Yes, we've all moved on since we were 19, but we didn't all go round acting like Billy Bigbollocks all the time either
Promising kid, no more than that. A poor man's Lassana Diarra - if we'd kept him Song would be a reserve and this boy would be third choice and not even a legend in his own lunchtime

I'm glad you mentioned Diarra, he is exactly why I love Frimpong and why he should be allowed to grow up, Diarra loved himself, Frimpong seems to love the club, too many lazy mercenaries at this club, Frimpong, Jack, Scezceny, all seem to want to go the extra mile, their imperfections should be tolerated while they mature and it will happen.

Listen to yourselves ! Is there a player (other than possibly Bendtner) at the football club who loves himself more than Frimpong.
Yeah and its clearly a much better policy selling dross like Diarra, a player who has gone on to establish himself at one of the world's elite clubs, and over reward and promote a self-hyped "hardman" like Frimpong that will never be fit to lace his boots
