As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sorry for your loss pal.
At least that's something I suppose....
The only dealings i've had with the club is when they messed up with my Barca ticket. Got to the ground and they told me I hadn't got one! when I had clearly booked and paid for it.
They eventually found me another seat, wasn't as good as my previous front row seat but i was just pleased to be in.
I emailed the club rather angrily stating that I will not attend anymore games unless they do something. Didn't expect a reply.
They phoned me at the first possible oppotunity and said they are really sorry and please don't stop going to games and gave me a full refund.
Arsenal 2-1 Barca all for free . So I can't complain too much.

FatChaz wrote:BG, with all due respect it's a bit unfair that local fans dont get the same treatment as fans from Brazil, who support Arsenal thanks to a bit of glory and certain famous Brazilian Gunners. That's something you wont ever understand being a brazilian gooner.
why can't i understand that? are you calling me stupid because i'm brazilian???? FUCK YOU YOU RACIST c**t!!!
of course i get it, not only get it but agree totally, only reason why i said i think arsenal are a class club in my opinion is because they treat ME and the supporters close to me wonderfully well - i cannot judge them based on what they do to other people as i don't see that, i live too many miles away.
that AND i do take what i read in this forum with a pinch of salt, as we have some seriously angry people in here
but i did tell southcoastarsenal that i get his points, fair play. if you fellas tell me they are c**ts with the supporter that's been going to the ground for years, fair play, i believe you. i don't pretend to know as much about arsenal as guys like olgit, who has been going to arsenal games for over 8 decades ( ) although i really wish i did.
you like playing that race card a lot it seems. ever heard of the story about a boy who cried wolf?
its also very short-sighted of you if you can't even see where we're coming from, it must be great living in your bubble. Good for you that Arsenal value your support more, but as local supporters what you say just strengthens our case that Arsenal has becomes a classless side and have ruined that badge and history.
are you incredibly stupid or are you just on the wind up?
i made a joke, put THREE FUCKING SMILING EMOTICONS and TWO FUCKING WINKY emoticons to confirm that.
then i said i made my point about me thinking arsenal is class because of the way they treat me and the people i know, but that I AGREE WITH YOU (did you read that part?) and accept your opinion because yes, you know arsenal better than i do, you're obviously closer and see more. that was my post.
now read your post again.
fucking hell
i'm the brazilian and you're the one can't read!
i know it was a joke, but it wasnt very funny and it was another race related topic by you. just change the tune mate.
nevertheless, your earlier 'in the bubble' comment about Arsenal treating YOU right, a non-local supporter, galvanises the point that Arsenal havent got their priorities straight with regards to their local supporters. im for ALL fans getting treated equally, which is a far cry from what is happening.

lol this aint even close to an argument, if i was arguing you'd notice, trust. im just giving my opinions in a discussion. im allowed to disagree, right?
As G88ner said, the club are likely swamped with autograph requests.
I also think BBP makes good point about it being a managemnt decision.
That said, there could be a solution that the club have a group of ex-players who will sign such items, simply because they are proud of their time with Arsenal.
I do not know who to suggest it to, but it would surely be a fitting way to honour Mick and future charity efforts.

i couldnt think of a more worthy cause than what KJ is suggesting. i know they get swamped, but what KJ is describing would be a good opportunity to give something back to the fans and a good PR opportunity.

Crocit off of here and a few others made a memorial flag which has been taken to games since his tragic death. The words read RIP Mick Bryenton Gone but Not Forgotten with the old style cannon on it. So hardly going to be sold on eBay, if that is what the club are worried about.
I contacted the club to see if they could get the players to sign it and Crocit was going to give it to the kids who regularly attend games.
However, the club have got back to me and refused the request.
Is it me over reacting or does that just lack class in every way possible? I did mention that the club find it okay to sell the shirts at £300 a piece. Awaiting a response.
As someone mentioned on the thread earlier the club probably get loads of requests and may reject any requests if its not a registered charity. Maybe if you have links (know a member of their family or agent) to a player or coaching staff you may have more success.

BG was joking you dopey sod! - ha! race card!
I feel much better about you insulting me yesterday with all that AKB and mug nonsense.... turns out, based on the above, that you're not the brightest of lads, are you
it was a reference to BG bringing up the race issue, although it was a joke, which i found inappropriate. you certainly are a mug if you keep positioning yourself as an apologist for the status quo at the club...but lets keep that to 'that' page shall we?
im not bright? well i find that rich coming from a suspected drop-out on a football forum, not that I need to prove anything to you on cyber space.

Eh?
I'm a drop-out on a football forum? what does that mean?
I'm assuming it's an insult? (again) - what are you saying I've dropped out of? or is it slang that's gone over my head?

I honestly don't get your point.
well isnt it the pot calling the kettle black when youre having a go at me for 'insulting' you, seeing as youve already called my dim, and a dopey sod, not that im offended mind. how about taking the banter just as much as youre give it out maybe?
since youre so bright i thought you'd know what a drop-out is. so i'll let you figure it out, just for that Eureka moment.
