F**k you very much Arsene

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

SOD...............OFF................NOW!
I'm all for hearing peoples thoughts on where the club is going wrong but it gets a little boring reading thread after thread on the same subject, especially when nothing new is being said.

Can't people simply add their thoughts on existing threads rather than having 5 on the first page alone?

The 2nd knob (taking the moral know-it-all high ground) comments on this thread and mocks our ignorance .. and not one fuck was given.

Now .. as Frank said .. SOD OFF !
I'm not a know it all just don't see the point of starting new threads on an existing subject over and over again.

Lots of good posts on the same subject are missed by other posters as they are spread over multiple threads.

It's another self important look at me thread. Ol Harry done well in the trasnfer market, there's no question about it. Citeh gladly loaned out greedy to them to help take points of their rivals and the Parker deal, well only 'Arry was going to get him.

Not true!! Bob Wilson recounted the story on radio recently that Parker had a word with him at a charity golf day event to say he fancied coming to Arsenal, that he thought he could do a good job for us and was Wenger interested. Unfortunately, Mr Knows didn't think Parker was technically good enough to play for us   so declined to make a bid - thus that is why 'arry got him. :banghead: :banghead:

 If that's true then it's a disgrace. For the price Parker was going for, his experience and his defensive ability when tracking back from midfield, he was exactly what we needed.

Scott Parker is a thousand times better than our very own Songinho

He holds a position, is a better passer of the ball, is stronger in the tackle, knows how to tackle, doesn't give away cheap fouls all over the place every two minutes, works harder, and looks interested for 90 minutes.

scott Parker or erm.. joey barton  were never going to make an impact on this squad.

Look at it, we lack quality everywhere. The only reason we're better defensively is because wenger was forced to after the embarassment at OT and our attack is far weaker.

Up front, out wide, in the middle, nowhere near arsenal standard.

No he isn't, he is a fucking chav reject, but a player who for some fucking reason unbeknown to me is the fucking darling of the English press, and joining the English press' darling manager has merely added to this love-in.
I've seen countless games where he has been ordinary at best. I don't know a single fan of another big club who would want Scott fucking parker, but I know plenty who would take Song in an instant.
The anti-song bias among gooners is fucking staggering. Watch our midfield totally collapse if he picks up an injury.

I say .. Arsene deserves a banker's bonus .. If the banks could get their hands on him .. He'd sort the economy out for us .. but we'd have to replace our veteran armed forces with TA Cadets (as they are cheaper) for the next 20 years while they grow and be trained to one day hopefully become soldiers ..
He'd field a weakened platoon for Libya because he needs the big boys for Iran but we'll lose in Libya and lose in Iran anyway.

Sid I think you need to have a serious look at the type of people you hang around with cos if these people seriously rate song above scott parker then a mental institution is where they belong  I am not for 1 minute claiming that parker is top quality but I will say with absolute certainty that he is a hundred times better than that cameroon lump of shite that we have  It is easy for fans of other teams to see a few minutes of our games and maybe see song make a pass like he did in everton game and then believe him to be good but most Gooners who watch him week in week out for 90+ minutes have seen how lazy, positionally indisciplned, poor in possession and useless in the tackle this guy really is

Was thinking the other day, when my kids are older & start getting properly into football - how do would they argue with their Mates who support Chelsea man ure city and even the spuds when they start talking about top players and trophies their teams are competing for, would they have to reply it's not all about trophies when you've got self sustainable models, if we buy player x it would kill diaby career, 4th is out target?

Time for a clear out of the rotten core of this club.

Sid has been brainwashed by Wenger

Only he could think Song is better than Parker, its no coincidence that Spurs kicked in to gear after he signed.

Hardly, if there had been another few games last season, then they would have caught us for 4th spot. Twitchy getting Modric back on side and signing a decent keeper has been the defining factor in this season's improvement.
Parker is overrated, Song is vastly underrated only by Arsenal fans.
Every pundit on television points out how important he is to our midfield, they can't all be wrong.
I know Parker has his admirers among them too, but this as I have said before, is because he is English and is one of those players who keep getting talked up as an England saviour, only for his limitations to be brutally exposed on the international stage.
