Was just thinking, the press have for a long time been ridiculing Arsenal's performances, poking fun at the sorry figure of Wenger.
Given their long standing hatred of the club, maybe they are enjoying watching us suffer, so to start calling for his head would not be in their interests. Why not just let him carry on and drag us further into the mire.
Paranoid maybe, but it would explain a lot.
Good point Sid. IMO it's only the journos who genuinely care (John Cross) or the Scum journos (Lawton) who just want to slate us who will call for his head.
