It's not on the main page, but I was logged in and saw this match is back on sale. Am glad as I missed out originally.

Proper dive. Shit away day as fuck all pubs about and ground miles away. As soon as you get off train, ob will herd you in to uni bar then make you pay £3 for bus to game and back. Stadium middle of nowhere. One of these shit modern stadiums with no feel about it. Fans are over rated and scum.

Enjoy.

Is it definately the Uni bar that arsenal fans will be in?
What time are you all planning to arrive there by train?

Im travelling by car so am wanting to find our where all the away support will be and then meet up there.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

The trains that make most sense are the 11:00 - 12:24, 11:20 - 12:48, 12:00 - 13:24 and 12:20 - 13:48. The later trains would be tough to make the game.

I did hear tell a new pub has opened near the ground that needs to be avoided by all away fans it's called the "Six Digit Handshake" :D  :barscarf:

Unless Stoke has changed on the last two years I would recommend taking a crowbar for anyone wishing to drink there before the game. Its impossible to get the wooden boards off the windows and doors of the pubs otherwise.....

You'll have a good view off the players coming out as the players enter from that corner where the away end is. You won't be able to go and stand were you want, just at your seat. Arsenal always sell out of their tickets so everyone will have an allocated seat. You'll still have a good view even from row two though. Enjoy your day.

When will Arsenal fans know which pub is being designated to away fans? What time will away fans arrive into stoke via train?
I dont want to get up there really early without knowing which pub is for away fans.

I was thinking of just parking the car in the train station car park, then at least i could get from there to the ground and back with other arsenal fans rather than parking near lots of home fans. What will the people travelling by coach do/go before the match? im not sure how long before kick off they will open the away end to get drinks in there.

Just trying to plan the journey to give me some idea of where i will be going as i know its not the greatest place for an away fan!!
Calm down mate. You sound petrified. You're going to Stoke not Afghanistan.

Stoke is no different to anywhere else. Bit of common sense and you'll be fine. Whenever we've been we always come out the station and walk to the town centre. Always been ok but like i said just use a bit of common sense.

I do use common sense buddy, just never been to Stoke before and dont know anyone else who is going to this match so was hoping to find out where all the arsenal fans are drinking in the city centre and then how i will get to the ground and back.

It usually alot easier at other away days as we have a designated away pub but Stoke isnt like that.

I was wondering where everyone is going to be drinking aswell. Ive never been to Stoke before either. I always have go to aways on my own and never have problems finding pubs to drink in. Prob will just head straight to the stadium and have a drink in there.
