Chavs to nick it by a goal to nil.

Ahem.
Mystic Meg sees a 4-1 home victory, this weekend, to a team wearing red and white, against a team in Rroyal blue

After last night there is no doubt that the momentum is with Chelsea. Tiredness only ever seems to be a factor with teams that are not winning, so I'm not as hopeful that will be a factor now.

Monday night was our chance to have opened up 10 points on them and we blew it with a performance that ranks alongside all the other disgusting ones from earlier in the season. They will come into the game knowing that if they win its seven points with 2 games in hand and our bottle will go, just like it does every April and May. Our most consistent and only mature midfielder is out and our only striker worthy of the name looks like the toil of carrying the other mugs along will finally wear him down.

Chelsea have Torres and Kalou fresh as they did not play this week. They can also call on the likes of Malouda. So will there really be a fatigued side that we line up against on Saturday ??

We on the other hand can rotate RvP with errrrmmmmmm........oh yeah, fucking nobody because our management team decided that a whole season with Maryanne and SQ as replacements was acceptable. And presumably now Arteta is out we can call upon Cesc, Nasri or Wilshere to.......oh no sorry we sold our best fucking players as usual and the remaining top class player has a season long injury. Oh well I'm sure now we're facing the business end of the season our wonderboys like Ramsey won't let us down.

Won't be there on Saturday but if we get a pathetic surrender then I really hope the Self Harmer gets the shit he deserves from the crowd. Only Arsenal could fuck it up from here in the next few games......just like only Arsenal could finish 4th in a two horse race last season

This game is just about as important as it gets and a month or so ago, I would have been looking forward to it

After Monday night's capitulation this could be the beginning of the end of the Arsenal Champions League era. Defeat here and then next up its Stoke away, where I've given us no chance even when we were playing well. Two more defeats and fifth place really is back on. Not that it matters in terms of pressure on the manager - he's bombproof - but it will spell the beginning of a long period of misery for the club where only a change of ownership and manager can take us back to being a leading force in this country again. I have that pencilled in for 2017 :(

I'll say it again, defeat spells disaster

I feel as fucked off about the direction of our club as I have done at any point in 30 years of support......and please don't harp on about how we used to only win the odd cup (because I'd take that) and used to qualify for the UEFA Cup (which we would do now if it wasn't for the fact that you can now finish 4th and qualify).

that is a bit of an over reaction to a defeat isnt it??
I take it you agree with my opinion of putting Kenny Dalglish on the shortlist for manager of the year then? he knows how to win the odd cup - do you see him as a replacement for Wenger? :D

4th place, been saying it all season - we will get there!

Firstly, it isn't a reaction to one defeat. If I was a Manchester United fan I'm sure I wouldn't be depressed at a defeat to Wigan - its a reaction to another 'tread on the rake' defeat that we have seen so often in the past 3 to 4 years under Wenger. Start will Hull City at the Emirates and work your way forward. Every time the post match reaction is the same "no easy games, we have to remain focused, we have to be more consistent, we have to fight for every 3 points".......its happened fucking umpteen times. I heard all that bullshit after QPR and barely 3 weeks later we get rolled over by Wigan.

This manager and this team doesn't learn its lessons. It wins a few games, takes the odd scalp like City, sits back and puts its feet up safe in the knowledge that it thinks the 'top four' trophy is secure for another season. Well I'm fucking sick of it

As for Dalglish, if they were challenging for top four I would agree with you but for the money he has spent to be languishing in mid-table is not acceptable despite the cups

.

what is it with people on here and taking the piss out of ramsey for breaking his leg? the poor guy works his bollocks off every game, and has scored some great goals for us. He loves playing for us, the problem is people that don't raise our players when they're having a bad time. remember eboue turning into a cult hero in 08-09? lets get some ramsey chnats going on saturday and inspire the bloke, if he plays or not
