Elaborate if you can please dan - I had forgotten that the smarmy c**t was meeting with groups supposedly representing the fans tonight and it hasnt been mentioned on here in the last few days :o
1. Was there any criticism of wenker ?
2. Was there any pressure from the board being put on him and the team to start delivering ?
3. Was there any coverage of the amount of non renewal of season tickets ?
4. Did he acknowledge that there is a significant percentage of the fanbase who are deeply dissatisfied with the way our club is being run and that there is also a significant percentage who believe that we need a change of manager ?
5.Was gazidas challenged on the total autonomy wenker seems to enjoy in our club ?
Now I wasn't personally there but, given the audience, I would hazard a guess that the answers are:

1. No
2. No
3. No
4. What? Are you crazy or something? Who at the club really gives a fuck?
5. Absolutely Not!!

 :banghead:

Could be wrong though. :rubchin:

Basic message was, that the money is there to be spent. If it isn't then it's down to Wenger, he chooses how much and when to spend. Questions came from the floor asking Gazidis if he would put more pressure on Wenger to use it to strengthen to which he replied that "he couldn't' force him", pretty lame answer imo.

IG also mentioned that they are trying to move AW away from the "socialist" wage structure. The money is there to pay top wages if needed, apparently. Have heard this before though.

IG stated that we will have revenue on a par with Bayern within two years  Not sure how true that is, seems a bold claim to me. IG also failed to mention that majority of Bayern revenue comes from commercial, ours comes from fans pockets. Several statements from the floor along the lines of "Comms Team now doing their jobs but the manager isn't"

No mention of ST non-renewals at all. Maybe too early in summer for that? Will be a bigger issue at AGM in autumn i guess.

"Why did you sell RvP to MUFC and gift them the title", lots of mumbling, says they weren't concerned with pocketing the 24m ( ) Financial incentives weren't solely the issue for Robin (yeah, no shit). I still feel not enough pressure has been put on them over this, would have liked someone to quote yesterday's BVB stance on Lewandowski to IG. The RvP farce will be the deal this CEO is remember for. A shameful piece of business.

Apparently IG was told by several present afterwards that they feel disillusioned & lied to on a constant basis. Criticism of AW was very minimal though. IG says they want to extend his contract & will make an announcement on that when time is right :( :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: IG was not really challenged, he "put on a good performance" by the sound of it - more apologetic than usual, says they know 4th isn't good enough yadda yadda yadda.

Same old shit really, sounds like he got off pretty lightly once again.

It now transpires that the big financial deals kick in 2014 anyone who like me took the time to investigate a little knew that anyway. But I digress....... so according to Ivan the terrible we cannot really spend big until next summer! Now I'm sure at the end of the season the club were making a big noise about some of the Emirates deal being available this summer. Mind you it was on Pravda so its likely to be complete bullshit.
I've had a quick scan on twatter and tonight's Q&A looks like the same old shit we get at every meeting and to be perfectly honest I really don't give a shit what Kroenkes bitch says because I have heard it all before. :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah:
:cussing: :cussing:
KROENKE OUT!!

You see it's stuff like this that gets on my fecking tits!!! If the club is struggling to make a challenge because the manager is not spending the resources available to him or won't change his wage / recruitment policy, and it is proving detrimental to the club's chances of success, then you fecking well replace him - not offer him a new contract!!! :banghead: :banghead:

Gazidis.
The key is having players Arsene believes in, adding them to the squad and making sure he has a cohesive squad he believes in.

‘I accept we haven't done that over the last few years. We have essentially been very consistent – we haven't slipped backwards and we haven't gone forwards. We need to go forwards.

‘It is not enough to be watching a video of a last-minute scramble to get over the line into fourth place. No-one at this club wants that.’

Not questioning who was left out - what I suggested was that there seems to have been very little coverage of this meeting prior to last night so I was wondering who was being represented or if it was just another "cosy" meeting with hand picked supporters

It's the use of 'supposedly', Augie ; I know what you are getting at, based on our previous conversations. AISA had 100 tickets, and could not give them all away ; I got an email invting me, even though I attended under another organisations invite. These groups do represent Arsenal fans, whether you like it or not.

The only group not represented last night were 'Keyboard warriors' as they are not officially recognised.
